    Abstract: A polypropylene composition comprising (percentage by weight unless otherwise specified): (a) 65 to 85%, of a crystalline propylene polymer having an amount of isotactic pentads (mmmm), measured by 13C-MNR on the fraction insoluble in xylene at 25° C, higher than 97.0 molar% and a polydispersity index ranging from 3 to 15; (b) 5 to 25% of an elastomeric copolymer of ethylene and propylene, the copolymer having an amount of recurring units deriving from ethylene ranging from 30 to 70%, and being partially soluble in xylene at ambient temperature; the polymer fraction soluble in xylene at ambient temperature having an intrinsic viscosity value ranging from 2 to 8 dl/g; and (c) 5 to 25% of recycled polyethylene (r-PE) having a melt flow rate (190°C/2.16 Kg) from 0.1 to 10 g/10', the whole composition having a value of melt flow rate (ISO 1133 230°C/2.16 kg) ranging from 0.1 to 3.0 g/10 min; the percentages of (a), (b) and (c) being referred to the sum of (a), (b) and (c).

    Abstract: A polypropylene compositions comprising: T1) 35-65wt%, of a recycled polypropylene mixture containing at least 80 wt% of polypropylene items and having a purity of at least 90 wt%. T2) 20-50 wt% of a an ethylene propylene copolymer T3) 5-20 wt% of a propylene, ethylene copolymer composition comprising: a) from 12 wt% to 52 wt% of a propylene homopolymer or a propylene/ethylene copolymer; b) from 48 wt% to 88 wt% of a propylene ethylene copolymer having a content of ethylene derived units ranging from 15 wt% to 42 wt%; wherein the propylene composition has a melt flow rate (ISO 1133 230°C/2.16 kg) ranging from 0.5 to 20 g/10 min.

    Abstract: A solid catalyst component for the polymerization of olefins comprising Mg, Ti and a an electron donor of formula (I) where the R 1 and R 5 groups, equal to or different from each other, are selected from C 1 -C 15 hydrocarbon groups, R 2 group is selected from C 2 -C 10 hydrocarbon groups, R 3 to R 4 groups, independently, are selected from hydrogen or C 1 -C 20 hydrocarbon groups, optionally fused together to form one or more cycles, with the proviso that at least one of R 3 to R 4 groups is a C 1 -C 20 alkyl group. The catalyst system based on the solid catalyst component is endowed with high activity and stereospecificity.
