Abstract:
There is provided a method for creating a stereoscopic image sequence. The method can include capturing a sequence of static images and forming a plurality of image pairs. Each image pair can include a first image and a second image selected from the sequence of static images. Selection of the first image can be done in a manner so that the image pairs are formed a spatially coherent manner. The stereoscopic image sequence can be created based on the image pairs. Creating the stereoscopic image sequence can, for example, relate to producing a stereoscopic video.
Abstract:
There is provided a container having a first end and a second end, the container being shaped and dimensioned so as to be suitable for carrying merchandise. The container can include a body portion defined between the first and second ends. The body portion can include a magnifying portion which facilitates a magnified view of at least a portion of the merchandise carried within the container.
Abstract:
A device such as a speaker apparatus is provided. The speaker apparatus can include a body portion and a display portion. The body portion can carry at least one speaker driver. The display portion can be coupled to the body portion. Additionally, the display portion can be moved relative to the body portion between a display position and a kept position. When in either the display position or the kept position, emission of sound from the speaker driver can remain substantially unimpeded by the display portion. Additionally, the speaker driver is capable of sound emission when the display portion is in either the display position or the kept position.
Abstract:
A speaker apparatus suitable for use with a computer operable for communicating audio signals to the speaker apparatus. The speaker apparatus includes a housing having a top portion and a body portion adjacent the top portion. The housing can be configured for carrying a coupling module and a speaker driver array. The coupling module can be configured for coupling the speaker apparatus and the computer. The speaker driver array can include a first speaker driver and a second speaker driver. The first and second speaker drivers can be arranged in a stacked arrangement. The stacked arrangement can be such that the first speaker driver can be positioned atop the second speaker and such that the first and second speaker drivers face different directions.
Abstract:
A driver apparatus configurable for receiving and processing at least one input signal. The driver apparatus can be coupled to ground potential. The driver apparatus can include a processing portion, a ground potential coupler and a control portion. The processing portion can be configured for receiving and processing the at least one input signal in a manner so as to produce drive signals. The ground potential coupler can couple at least a portion of the processing portion to the ground potential such that the processing portion can be configured to produce the drive signals based on an effective reference potential. The control portion can be coupled to the processing portion and the ground potential coupler. Additionally, the control portion can be configured to receive and process at least a portion of the drive signals in a manner so as to control variance of the effective reference potential.
Abstract:
An electronic device which can include an input portion, a processing portion and a display portion. The processing portion can be coupled to the input portion. The display portion can be coupled to the processing portion. Input signals can be communicated from the input portion. The processing portion can be coupled to the input portion such that input signals are receivable therefrom and processed in a manner so as to produce output signals. The display portion can be coupled to the processing portion such that output signals are receivable therefrom and displayable at the display portion as display data. The input signals can correspond to at least one of graphic data, control data and audio data. The output signals can correspond to at least one of indicator data and character data. The display data can correspond to at least one of character data and indicator data.
Abstract:
A device suitable for use by a user for communicating graphic data. Graphic data communicated can be associable with font unique to the user. The device can include an input portion from which input signals can be communicated and a processing portion coupled to the input portion. The input portion can include a graphic input segment for communicating graphic data corresponding to the input signals. Input signals can be received from the input portion and processed by the processing portion in a manner so as to produce output signals. The output signals can be based upon to produce display data corresponding to replication data. Replication data can substantially be a replication of the graphic data which is associable with font unique to the user. Additionally, replication data can be stored as an electronic file which can be retrieved for one or both of display and editing.
Abstract:
There is provided a method for optimizing reproduction of audio signals from an apparatus for audio reproduction with the apparatus for audio reproduction having a variable number of speakers. The method includes determining performance characteristics of each of the variable number of speakers; comparing performance characteristics of each of the variable number of speakers with each other; and designating a master speaker from the variable number of speakers either with or without manual intervention.
Abstract:
There is provided a system and method for video frame marking. It is preferable that a tagged video frame is visually perceptible in the set of chronologically ordered video frames shown in the display. The selection of each video frame preferably causes playback of an excerpt of the video with a duration of the common predetermined interval. The video frame may denote a scene from a portion of the excerpt of the video, such as, for example, start, middle and end. It is advantageous that the excerpts of the video of each tagged video frame is combined using the user interface to generate a concise representation of the video. The concise representation of the video may be in a form where excerpts of the video of each of the tagged video frames are played back at a normal rate while excerpts of the video of each of other video frames are played back at an accelerated rate.
Abstract:
There is provided a method for showcasing a built-up structure with at least one room. It is advantageous that the user is able to view the interior of the built-up structure by accessing and navigating about a single panoramic image for each room. An apparatus enabling the method and a method of using a work product of the method for showcasing a built-up structure with at least one room is also provided.
