Através do sistema, o investidor (3), de posse do cartão magnético específico (4) pode retirar da ATM (5) acessada, ouro ativo (6) em forma de barras de ouro, moedas de ouro, jóias e coleções, bem como gravuras em ouro, devidamente monetizadas, ou receber seu valor em moeda corrente creditada em seu cartão de crédito. No caso de opção de resgate do valor do certificado em moeda corrente, com o mesmo cartão o titular do certificado também poderá retirar seu ouro físico (barras), nas agências conveniadas.
