Abstract:
The present invention discloses a folding arrangement (122) of a walk-behind power tool (100). The folding arrangement (122) includes a hinge (202) having a first hinge part (204) and a second hinge part (206). The first hinge part (204) is arranged for receiving an end of a first elongate member (118), while the second hinge part (206) is arranged for receiving an end of a second elongate member (120). Further, the first (204) and second (206) hinge parts are pivotally interconnected about a hinge axis (A), so as to enable pivoting of the hinge between a folded position and a closed position. Moreover, the first hinge part (204) has a first opening (212) arranged for passing through a cable harness (121) arriving from a channel or groove provided in the first elongate member (118). Similarly, the second hinge part (206) has a second opening (216) arranged for receiving the cable harness (121) arriving from the first opening (212). The first and second openings (212, 216) are facing each other when the hinge (202) is in the closed position. Moreover, at least one of the first (204) and second (206) hinge parts has a protruding portion (220), arranged for directing the cable harness (121) towards the first (212) and second openings (216) when the hinge (202) pivots from the folded position to the closed position. The application also concerns a handle assembly and a walk-behind power tool comprising such an arrangement.
Abstract:
A height adjustment arrangement (1) for a lawn mower (20) for changing a cutting height is provided. The height adjustment arrangement comprises a respective link arm (2a, 2b) pivotally arranged at opposite sides of the chassis (21), and a transversal rod (5) extending between the link arms (2a, 2b) comprising wheel attachment ends (6a, 6b) configured to protrude outwardly from the respective link arm (2a, 2b).The height adjustment arrangement further comprises a locking arrangement (11) for releaseably locking at least one of the link arms (2a, 2b) in a pivot position. The transversal rod comprises connection portions (9a, 9b) which are essentially parallel to the link arms and releaseably connected thereto such that pivoting of the link arm (2a, 2b) causes the wheel attachment ends (6a, 6b) to synchronously change the cutting height of the lawn mower chassis (21).
Abstract:
A drive hand-control system (6) mainly lo cated at a lawn mower handle arrangement (5) intended for guidance of the lawn mowe r by an operator, the lawn mower having at least one power unit for driving at le ast one propulsion member and a cutting member, a drive arrangement for transmitting drive force to the at least one propulsion member and an operator presence control (7) located at the lawn mower handle arrangement (5) preferably for ha nd engagement by the operator, the drive hand-control system (6) comprising a driv e engagement control (8) having at least two positions, where a first pos ition disengages the drive of the at least one propulsion member and a second position engages th e drive of the at least one propulsion member, and the drive engagement control (8 ) being switchable between the at least two positions by the operator, and the first position and the second position of the drive engagement control (8) being stable positions, which are stable without any effort from the operator, except for the effort possibly required for the hand engagement of the operato r presence control (7).
Abstract:
A front baffle assembly (1) for a lawn mower (30) is provided. The front baffle assembly (1) is adapted for attachment to a lawn mower chassis (2), and comprises a stopper (5a, 5b) configured to abut against an upper side of the chassis (2) and a front baffle (4) configured to abut against a lower side of the chassis (2). The front baffle assembly (1) comprises a catch element (6a, 6b) which protrudes downwardly from the stopper (5a, 5b) and is arranged to extend through the chassis (2) and beyond a lower side of the front baffle (4). The front baffle assembly (1) comprises a front axle (7) arranged to be received between the catch element (6a, 6b) and the lower side of the front baffle (4) to clamp the chassis (2) between the stopper (5a, 5b) and the front baffle (4).
Abstract:
A lawn mower wheel (2) is provided. The lawn mower wheel (2) comprises a hub (3) arranged for attachment to a lawn mower wheel axle extending in an axial direction. The lawn mower wheel (2)comprises a tread (4). The tread (4)has a tread width (8) in the axial direction. The tread is a web structure of material portions (6) separated by through openings (7) to reduce the area of the tread (4) onto which grass clippings may attach. The lawn mower wheel (2) comprises a rim (5). The rim (5) extends from the hub (3) to the tread (4). The rim (5) has a rim width (9) in the axial direction. The rim width (9) corresponds to less than half of the tread width (8), to allow grass clippings to fall from one through opening (7) of the tread (4) to another.
Abstract:
A walk-behind lawn mower comprising a body with an engine driving a cutting blade, and a handle assembly which is pivotably connected to the body. The lawn mower furthermore comprises a handle control arrangement for controlling pivotal movement of the handle assembly relative to the bod, between a working position and a pivoted position. The handle control arrangement comprises a locking member, selectively displaceable between an open state in which the locking member allows pivotal movement of the handle assembly from the working position to the pivoted position, and a locked state in which the locking member inhibits pivotal movement of the handle assembly from the working position to the pivoted position. The handle control arrangement also comprises an actuating member operatively connected to the locking member and controlling the state of the locking member. The actuating member is also arranged to control activation and deactivation of a device arranged to inhibit rotation of the cutting blade of the walk- behind lawn mower.
