Abstract:
A circuit breaker having one pole per phase, wherein each pole includes a feed-through insulator (10) containing a vacuum chamber (14) to which a metal tube (25) is mechanically and electrically connected, said metal tube containing a control rod (30) for controlling the vacuum chamber. The feed-through insulators of each pole are attached to a single hollow beam (4) containing a common pole control shaft (38) connected to a control mechanism.
Abstract:
A multipolar auto-isolating circuit breaker in which each pole has a feed-through insulator containing a vacuum chamber and comprising at one end thereof a first contact connected to a first terminal of the chamber so as to co-operate with a first conductor. A second end of the insulator has a second contact connected to a second terminal of the chamber so as to co-operate with a second conductor. The feed-through insulators are rigidly connected to a single metal beam (4) containing a common control shaft (38) for the chambers (14) which is actuated by a mechanism housed in a box (5) which is rigidly fixed to the beam. Said circuit breaker may be used in electrical bays and medium voltage substations.
Abstract:
A device for determining the condition of an apparatus which can be in a first and a second condition and is provided with auxiliary contacts (CAO1,...CAF1...) providing binary condition indications according to the current apparatus condition. The device includes at least one auxiliary contact (CAO1) providing a condition signal '1' when the apparatus is in the first condition, and at least one auxiliary contact or second condition auxiliary contact (CAF1) providing a condition signal '1' when the apparatus is in the second condition, as well as a programmed microcontroller (MP) receiving, at its inputs, the condition signals from the auxiliary contacts (CAO1,...CAF1...), as well as commands (00, OF) requesting a change from one condition to the other, and outputting, inter alia, signals which are representative of the condition (PO, PF) and/or availability (MPF) of the apparatus, and of the condition and/or availability (MACAO, MACAF, MFCA) of the auxiliary contacts, the signal being produced by a programme for implementing an apparatus continuity and use security strategy.
Abstract:
The invention concerns the transmission system of a local area network (1) providing an exchange of digital data between equipment (2) forming part of a vehicle data processing system. The local area network (1) transmission system comprises an open transmission line made up of bidirectional point-to-point links (3) connecting equipment to neighbouring equipment, and means (4) for connecting the equipment to the transmission line. Each piece of equipment is connected to the transmission line by a signal transmission, reception and propagation sub-system (4) which transmits digital data simultaneously to its two neighbours. Said sub-system (4) selects the first signal received from one of the transmission line segments to which it is connected, shapes it for propagation to the opposite segment, and transmits it to the equipment. The invention applies to rail vehicles. The transmission line segments consist of a screened twisted pair. The point-to-point links are redundant. The transmission code is FM0 (differential Manchester). Access to the transmission line is controlled by the protocol defined in ISO 8802.4 (token bus).
Abstract:
A motor armature is described. An armature for a magnetized motor comprises at least one pair of magnetic poles between which are located azimuthally magnetized magnets, and a rotatable shaft, characterized in that the poles and the magnets are made integral with each other and with the armature by means of a shape (30) whose thickness is constant and whose cross-section reveals lobes (31, 32, 33, 34) of which there are as many as the motor has poles, said lobes being linked in pairs by curved elements (41, 42, 43, 44) which are substantially shaped like the arcs of a circle whose diameter is close to that of the motor shaft (1). The armature can be used in magnetized synchronous motors.
Abstract:
System for measuring partial discharges comprising a plurality of acquisition devices (MAD) each including a signal shaping device providing a single value, a multiplexor (MTS) allowing to succesively provide on a common path (VC) signal values provided by the different acquisition devices, an acquisition triggering device (LA) which is sensitive to the existence of an acquisition control signal provided when the input level of at least one acquisition device exceeds a predetermined threshold and providing an acquisition control signal, a signal processing and storage system (ORD) sensitive to the acquisition control signal and effecting an acquisition cycle during which it stores the signal values provided by the different acquisition devices, through the multiplexor.
