Abstract: The present invention relates to a propulsion arrangement for a marine vessel (1), which propulsion arrangement comprises an internal combustion engine (2), a shaft arrangement (3) and a steerable thruster unit (4). The marine vessel (1) further comprises an electric generator (51) or a combined electric generator and motor in connection with the propulsion arrangement.
