    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect a beam failure at a first transmission-reception point (TRP) associated with a serving cell. The UE may transmit, to a base station via a second TRP, a scheduling request (SR) for a beam failure recovery (BFR) via a first SR physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource. The UE may detect a beam failure at a second TRP associated with the serving cell or another serving cell. The UE may transmit, to the base station, the SR via a second SR PUCCH resource with a spatial relation configured for the SR. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configuration for multiple sets of prioritization parameters for a random access channel (RACH) procedure. A first set of prioritization parameters of the multiple sets of prioritization parameters may be associated with a higher priority network slice than the other sets of prioritization parameters (e.g., than the remaining sets of prioritization parameters). The UE may detect a trigger to perform a RACH procedure and select the first set of prioritization parameters for the RACH procedure based on the first set of prioritization parameters being associated with the higher priority network slice. The UE may perform the RACH procedure for the network slice according to the first set of prioritization parameters.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a trigger for the UE to perform a RACH procedure to access a network slice (e.g., service). The UE may receive, from a base station, a random access configuration for performance, by the UE, of random access with a physical network. The UE may identify a network slice to be accessed by the UE, where the network slice may be supported by a logical network associated with the physical network. The UE may select a slice-based random access procedure (e.g., two-step slice-based random access procedure, four-step slice-based random access procedure) based on the random access configuration and the network slice to be accessed by the UE. The UE may perform, with the base station, the slice-based RACH procedure in accordance with the selected slice-based RACH procedure type.

    Abstract: Wireless communication techniques that include multi-beam techniques for small data transfer (SDT) over preconfigured uplink resources (PURs) are discussed. A UE may receive an indication of at least one PUR allocated for uplink communication when the UE does not have a RRC connection with a base station. The at least one PUR may include one or more distinct PUR occasions. The UE may also receive an indication of one or more distinct SSBs associated with the one or more distinct PUR occasions. Each PUR occasion of the one or more distinct PUR occasions may be associated with only one SSB of the one or more distinct SSBs. The UE may also transmit information to the base station during a PUR occasion associated with an SSB that is associated with a RSRP that is greater than a threshold. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
