Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for preparing a beverage suitable for consumption from at least two ingredients and an amount of liquid such as water which is supplied to the ingredients, wherein a first ingredient comprises a substance to be extracted such as ground coffee, and a second ingredient comprises a substance such as milk powder/creamer, sugar and such additives, soluble in liquid such as water. During a first period, the liquid having, at most, a first temperature, is supplied to the first and second ingredient for obtaining a first beverage part, and, during a second period, the liquid having, at least, a second temperature is supplied to the first and second ingredient for obtaining a second beverage part. The first and the second beverage parts are combined for obtaining the beverage.
Abstract:
A coffee beverage system is described including a coffee bean packaging cartridge and a coffee brewing apparatus. The coffee beans packaging cartridge includes a container holding coffee beans and transportation means adapted for enabling transportation of the coffee beans towards an exit opening of the cartridge. The coffee apparatus comprises a grinder for grinding the coffee beans from the cartridge and a brewing device for brewing coffee on the basis of ground coffee obtained by means of the grinder. The system is further provided with a metering chamber for receiving coffee beans which are transported with the aid of the transportation means into the metering chamber. In use the metering chamber will hold a predetermined amount of coffee beans. The metering chamber comprises a bottom portion which forms a part of the grinder, said bottom portion being arranged in the coffee apparatus for rotating around an axis extending in a vertical direction. T system is further provided with a second coffee bean packaging cartridge including a second dosing device separate from the first dosing device for independently of the coffee brewing apparatus preparing and/or supplying a dose of coffee beans to the entrance opening of the coffee brewing apparatus.

Abstract:
Method for preparing cappuccino wherein at least one coffee pad (30) filled with ground coffee and an instant and/or liquid creamer are utilized, the method further comprising the following method-steps: hot water is forced under pressure through the coffee pad (30) for obtaining coffee extract; - the coffee extract is supplied under pressure to at least one nozzle for obtaining a coffee extract jet, the coffee extract jet is aimed at a first buffer reservoir (40) already filled with the creamer so that in the first buffer reservoir the cappuccino is formed and the cappuccino is discharged from the first buffer reservoir.
Abstract:
A coffee beverage system is described, including a coffee bean packaging cartridge and a coffee brewing apparatus comprising a grinder wherein the coffee bean packaging cartridge is removably connectable to the coffee grinder apparatus. The coffee bean packaging cartridge is arranged for holding and supplying of coffee beans and includes transportation means adapted for enabling transportation of the coffee beans. The coffee brewing apparatus comprises a motor for driving the transportation means of the first coffee bean packaging cartridge. The system further comprises a ground coffee packaging cartridge, preferably having transportation means for enabling transportation of ground coffee which transportation means, which is also removably connectable to the coffee grinder apparatus.
Abstract:
A method for preparing a beverage suitable for consumption from at least two ingredients to be dissolved and/or extracted and an amount of liquid such as water which is supplied to the ingredients, the method comprising the following steps: - a first ingredient is utilized in a first holder system; and - a second ingredient is utilized in a second holder system.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an assembly for preparing a beverage suitable for consumption. To that end, the assembly (1) is provided with at least a first covering (2) and a first ingredient (4) included in the at least first covering, the first ingredient comprising a substance such as milk powder/creamer, sugar and like additives soluble or extractable in a liquid such as water. The assembly is further provided with a second ingredient (14), the second ingredient comprising a soluble or extractable substance such as ground coffee or tea while the second ingredient forms part of a substantially rigid body (16).
Abstract:
A method for the preparation of a beverage suitable for consumption such as, for instance, cappuccino, wherein use is made of at least one extraction pad (44) at least filled with a product to be extracted such as ground coffee (45), and at least one additive holder (32) at least filled with a soluble substance such as a flavouring and/or odorant and/or colorant, more in particular such as an instant and/or liquid creamer (35), the method further comprising the following method steps: the extraction pad (44) and the additive holder (32) are positioned relative to each other such that they lie clear of each other; hot water is pressed under pressure through the extraction pad (44) and contacted with the soluble substance (35) for obtaining an extract with the soluble substance (35) dissolved therein; - the extract with the soluble substance (35) dissolved therein is fed under pressure to at least one nozzle (28) for obtaining an extract jet; and the extract jet is aimed at an impact surface (16) for obtaining a beverage suitable for consumption with a froth layer, such as cappuccino.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a reform-retaining pad (1), an assembly and a method for preparing a beverage suitable for consumption. For this purpose, the pad is provided with a covering (2), in which a water-soluble substance (4), such as milk power/creamer and sugar, is included. The covering comprises a top sheet (6) and a bottom sheet (8). The pad is further provided with a form-providing stiffening body (10), placed between the top sheet and the bottom sheet, with the top sheet and the bottom sheet extending at least partly substantially parallel to each other and the surface. The stiffening body has a top side adjacent to the top sheet and a bottom side adjacent to the bottom sheet, and, by providing a compartmenting wall configuration therein, has a grid structure (14) transmissive to liquid, in which structure at least a part of the soluble substance is accommodated and each compartment (16) formed by the wall configuration is surrounded by that wall configuration, the top sheet and the bottom sheet.
