Abstract:
A food processor has a bowl for receiving a food product and an electric motor which drives coaxial drive outputs including a first high speed output for driving a knife and a second contra-rotating low speed output for driving a scraper for skimming a wall of the bowl, which is used for preparing pastes or similar viscous fluids. The first drive output is connected directly to the shaft of the motor, a compact gear train including an epicyclic gear set provides a large speed reduction between the motor and the second drive output. The motor and gear train may be located together in a housing adapted to close the top of the bowl, or the gear train is disposed within a lid which may be connected rotationally fast with the bowl.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a tablet formulation including macrocyclic lactone and levamisole anthelmintic agents. The tablet is stable when stored over time and delivers the agents in a manner similar in efficacy to existing oral drench formulations.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a method and apparatus for controlling service level requirements between a communication network and a user equipment associated with an end-user connected in the communication network, in which the user equipment communicates with an external service via the communication network, the method comprising determining the end-user service level in dependence on a service level specification determined by the communication network and the external service.
Abstract:
In mobile IP networks, a method of forwarding packets of a mobile node. After a mobile node moves from one cell to another which is also know as a handover, the mobile node is informed of the capability changes in the access router and the new communication path. There is also a filter mechanism (255) inside the mobile node to filter out messages that will be rejected by the new access router due to changes resulting from a handover.
Abstract:
The disclosure herein provides methods, systems, and devices for collecting movement data of an athlete or a combat athlete using sensors attached to the athlete or combat athlete, transmitting the data to a computing system, analyzing the data according to at least one predetermined parameter, determining a training strategy for the combat athlete based on the analyzed data, and other processing steps.
Abstract:
Absorbent cores comprising a layered structure and methods of manufacture are disclosed. In one embodiment, an absorbent body may comprise a top layer comprising a liquid permeable web material, a bottom layer comprising a web material, and a reinforcement layer disposed between the top layer and the bottom layer. The absorbent body may further comprise a first absorbent layer disposed between the reinforcement layer and the bottom layer, the first absorbent layer comprising absorbent material which comprises substantially only superabsorbent material and a second absorbent layer disposed between the top layer and the reinforcement layer, the second absorbent layer comprising absorbent material which comprises absorbent material. The body may also comprise adhesive disposed between the top layer and the second absorbent layer, between the second absorbent layer and the reinforcement layer, and between the first absorbent layer and the bottom layer.
Abstract:
A vehicle includes a first track fixed in position relative to a frame. The first track extends from a first position to a second position in a straight line. A first rack is moveable back and forth along the straight line of the first track. A first rack gear runs along at least one side of the rack. A first pinion is coupled to the frame and includes a first pinion gear that is rotatable and engages with the first rack gear such that the first pinion gear is turned in a first direction as the first rack moves along the first track from the first position to the second position. A drive element is coupled to the frame and the first pinion, and the drive element converts rotational motion of the first pinion gear in the first direction into movement of the vehicle.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a tablet formulated for administration to an animal to treat parasite infestation. The tablet includes at least one macrocyclic lactone compound with anthelmintic activity dissolved in at least one organic solvent and subsequently formulated into a tablet. The tablets produced have a high degree of stability when stored over time and also provide the animal with a dose of agent sufficient to be therapeutically effective.
Abstract:
A policy server operates to configure differentiated services over multi-protocol label switching (Diffserv/MPLS) in a communications network. The policy server enables the definition and deployment of a customer policy, a network policy and a mapping policy. The policy server is arranged to create a group of MPLS tunnels, and associate the tunnels to the mapping policy and the customer policy. The customer policy includes a tunnel group identifier and a tunneling mode, and maps customer traffic to MPLS tunnels. The policy server translates the customer policy, the network policy and the mapping policy into device-specific commands, and then deploys the device-specific commands to the network interfaces of the affected network devices.
Abstract:
A policy server is arranged to construct device-neutral policies for configuring CBR for MPLS traffic engineering across a network. The policy server translates the device-neutral policies into device-specific commands (e.g. link attribute definitions and affinity profiles). The policy server defines the link attributes, assigns the link attributes to network interfaces, establishes affinity proflies and attaches the affinity profiles to MPLS tunnels. The link attribute definitions and affinity profiles are shared across the network to construct the policies such that IP operators can configure CBR easily across a network.
