    Abstract: An electronic circuit for use with a consumable imaging unit comprises information configured to transform said electronic circuit from a communicated state to a non communicated state. Additionally, the information of the circuit is configured to alter an identifier of the circuit. The information of the circuit is also configured to point an imaging machine to communicate with a second element of the circuit after the information determines that a first element of the circuit has been altered from its original state.
