Abstract:
A drawer (1) for loading and unloading a disk-changing device with a disk (50), in particular for a compact disk, has a base section (3) mounted in the housing (2) of the disk-changing device, a receiving bay (5) which can slide in and out on the base part (3), and a removable disk holder (12) for the disk (50) mounted in the receiving bay (5). To prevent displacement of the disk holder (12) at the very start of the opening action when the drawer (1) slides out, the receiving bay (5) is provided with a locking/unlocking device (15) which can pivot substantially vertically and be actuated by the base part (3). Said locking/unlocking device has catch elements (21, 19) which engage with the base part (3) when the receiving bay (5) is in and with the disk holder (12) when the receiving bay slides out.
Abstract:
A functional control device for a photoelectric barrier comprises a first terminal (V2) to a supply voltage source for the transmitter, a second terminal (V1) and, connected between the two terminals (V1, V2), a first transistor (T1), the base of which is connected to a third terminal (E) through a parallel circuit of a second transistor (T2) and a capacitor (C1). The capacitor (C1) is also connected to the second terminal (V1) through a first resistor (R1). A serial circuit of a second and a third resistor (R2, R3) is connected between the first terminal (V2) and the third terminal (E), a fourth terminal for a reference voltage (Vref) being provided between the two resistors (R2, R3). An on/off signal (E/A) is applied to the base of the second transistor (T2).
Abstract:
Described is a read and/or record device for discs, the device including a housing (2), at least one disc magazine (4) with a multiplicity of superposed disc holders (5) mounted in compartments and each designed to hold one disc, at least one disc drive (3) enabling data to be read off or recorded on the disc, a disc-conveying device (6) designed to move past the stack of compartments in the magazine (4) and to convey the required disc, together with its holder (5), back and forth between the magazine (4) and the disc drive, and a central control unit. In order to prevent a disc holder (5) without a disc being conveyed to the disc drive (3), while at the same time ensuring a high level of reliability, the disc-conveying device (6) operates in conjunction with a detector unit (9) fitted to the housing and designed to detect the presence of a disc in the disc holder (5) carried by the conveying device (6).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a playing system for entertainment machines (2) with interchangeable games, wherein the entertainment machines (2) are provided with storage devices (22), and game programmes and data are stored in a central memory. The entertainment machines (2) are connected to the central memory. The stored game programmes and data are read out of the memory for the entertainment machines (2) as necessary and stored in the appropriate storage device (22).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an interchange system for running storage media, with a playback unit (201, ..., 20N), a storage device (50), a control device (2) and an external computer. There are an internal computer (2) and a buffer store (50) in the interchange system. The internal computer (2) controls and monitors the interchange system, runs the buffer store (50) and provides communication with an external computer system which accesses the storage media (201, ..., 20N) via the interchange system.
Abstract:
A record player with at least one disc magazine (3) having a plurality of discs (1) stacked in slots (8) is fitted with a transport device (4) movable in the stacking direction of the disc magazine (3) to shift a desired disc (1) between the slot (8) and a turntable (38). In order to be able to play discs in protective cassettes in such a record player, each disc (1) is fitted in a prior art manner so as to rotate in a cassette (7) with at least one window (14) closable by a slide (15) and allocated to the playing head of the turntable (38), whereby each cassette (7) is slid into a cassette holder (6) which is located in the slot (8) of the disc magazine (3) and can be engaged by the transport device (4), and whereby each cassette holder (6) has a nose (22) which takes the slide (15) into the open position when the cassette (7) is inserted into the cassette holder (6) and a flexible projection (25) which moves the slide (15) into the closed position when the cassette (7) is withdrawn from the cassette holder (6).
Abstract:
Described is an entertainment installation comprising at least one entertainment apparatus (1) with a playing area (3), the installation also including image-recording equipment (8) viewing the playing area (3), a projector (11) connected to the image-recording equipment (8) and a screen (10) on to which the image of the playing area is projected. Working in conjunction with the screen (10) is a control console (12) connected to the entertainment apparatus (1).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a CD player with at least one replaceable CD magazine (3) located in the housing (2) of the player. The magazine is held in position in the housing (2) by a locking device (21) and has CD holders (4) each holding a CD (1) and superposed one on the other in compartments. In order to simplify replacement of the magazine (3), the magazine (3) is inserted like a drawer from the front of the housing (2). In order to stabilize the magazine (3) inside the housing (2), at least one groove-and-tongue slideway is located between the magazine (3) and the housing (2).
Abstract:
A record player has two opposing record magazines (3) containing record holders (4) with records (1) in superimposed storage compartments and a movable transport arrangement (5) that carries the desired record (1) with the corresponding record holder (4) back and forth between the storage compartment and a playback unit (7). To make it possible to playback the records (1) successively and uninterruptedly, at least two independently controlled playback units (7) are serviced by the transport arrangement (5). The transport arrangement (5) carries the individual records (1) with their record holders (4) selectively from the one or the other record magazine (3) to the one or other playback unit (7) and selectively deposits them in the one or the other record magazine (3) after they have been played back.
Abstract:
The object of the invention is a coin-operated music playing machine (juke box) (4) with a coin unit (44), an indicator (24), an input keyboard (28) and at least one loudspeaker (32). The juke box is connected to a central music store (10) via a remote data taransmission line (16) whereby the remote data transmission line (16) is suitable for transmitting tonal information and is preferably an ISDN line, and the juke box (4) has digital/analog converters and amplifiers for tonal information transmitted via the remote data transmission line (16). It is also possible to transmit image information to juke boxes fitted with a screen unit so that, for example, sound films may be reproduced.
