A method, a system, and a device are disclosed which are capable of using moving liquid to create energy in the form of compressed air. The method, system, and/or device does not harm or consume the liquid to operate. The compressed air can be used to operate anything from vehicles to electric generators.

Vehicles are disclosed that are configured to carry loads in a stabilized manner, such that the load is maintained in a substantially constant position or orientation relative to a predetermined reference point or frame even as the vehicle moves. A stabilization controller in such a vehicle receives information about movement of the vehicle relative to the reference point or plane from one or more sensors on the vehicle, and uses the information to control one or more movable objects by which the load is secured to the vehicle so as to maintain a relatively constant relationship between the load and the reference point or plane.

The system aligns a chain or other drive means to a center of each of a plurality of provided sprockets, allows for a smaller, lighter and more durable shifter/controller, and reduces various complications associated with cable slack and shifting. A derailleur is provided with linear actuated features to directly translate drive means from one position to another along a desired path.

A device that assists with equalizing air pressure within a bottle with the atmospheric air pressure as liquid is being poured from the bottle and includes one or more relatively short air tubes. The air tubes are situated with an upper inlet rim of the air tubes located flush with or relatively near the bottle rim. Whether an insert or integrated into the manufacture of a container, the one or more air tubes that extend partially into the container allow air to pass into the container as the liquid exits the container. The pressure equalizer not only minimizes or prevents the common glugging effect, but it allows liquid from a bottle to be poured smoothly at any angle and orientation. A cap incorporating a detachable pressure equalizer is also described.

A device is provided that assists with equalizing air pressure within a container with the atmospheric air pressure as liquid is being poured from the container and includes one or more relatively short air tubes. The device is provided with the ability to simultaneously equalize pressure in the container while also providing a drip collection mechanism. The device may be configured for unidirectional pouring or multi-directional pouring.

A bicycle transmission system is provided herein. The bicycle transmission system includes a sprocket or ring that is capable of sliding amongst an infinite number of lateral positions relative to a crank arm. The movement of the sprocket or ring facilitates an optimal chain path from the sprocket or ring to another sprocket or ring in the transmission system and, therefore, increases the efficiency with which power is transferred through the system.

Mechanisms are disclosed for releasably attaching a wheel to a vehicle in a position where the wheel supports a weight of the vehicle. An illustrative quick connect system is described to include a wheel, a vehicle frame, and a coupling system that releasably attaches the wheel to the vehicle frame. The coupling system, when in a coupled state, may substantially prevent or oppose rotation between a wheel core and the vehicle frame.
