Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of determining a direction of a drilling pattern in tunnel curve calculation to be executed in a control unit of a rock drilling rig. The invention further relates to a software product implementing the method, and a rock drilling rig. A tunnel line (16) of a tunnel to be excavated is determined e.g. by using curve fitting. A location of a drilling site on the tunnel line is communicated to the control unit (11) and a navigation plane (19) of the drilling pattern (28) is positioned on the tunnel line. A start point (30) of a round is positioned on the tunnel line (16) and a length (L) of the round is provided. Further, an end point (31) of the round is positioned at a distance corresponding with the length of the round from the start point and a coordinate system (29) of the drilling pattern is directed such that one of its axes points from the start point to the end point. Finally, different coordinate systems are transformed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a control apparatus for controlling a rock-drilling rig performing a multiphase rock-drilling event. The control apparatus is arranged to display a working phase indicator on a display, and rock drilling phase-specific information elements is associated with different working phases. The control apparatus is arranged to specify the phase of the rock-drilling event and to update the working phase indicator to display at least one display information element in accordance with the specified working phase.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and equipment for displaying holes to be drilled when drilling holes into rock with a rock-drilling rig (1) having control equipment and a display belonging thereto and measuring means for defining the direction and position of a drill rod, by using a pre-designed drilling plan defined in a three-dimensional coordinate system, in which a starting point (19a to 21 a) and end point (19b to 21 b) is defined for each hole to be drilled. In the invention, a base plane (18) running through the end point (19b to 21 b) of the hole and parallel to the projection plane is defined for each hole (19 to 21), and a projection of the intersection of a hole or its extension created when drilling in accordance with the current location of the drill rod and the defined base plane is displayed with a graphical location symbol on the projection plane.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for positioning a rock drilling rig to a drilling site and a rock drilling rig. In positioning the rock drilling rig (1) is driven to the positioning station (12) such that its carrier (2) is at desired distances from wall surfaces (13) surrounding the drilling site. For positioning the rig is provided with distance measuring devices (11). Navigation is not started until positioning has been performed and in navigation the location of the rock drilling rig is linked to the coordinate system of the drilling site.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for designing a drilling pattern for rock cavity excavation and a software product implementing the method. The drilling pat- tern (9) is created by means of a design program. The drilling pattern defines several starting points (29) of drill holes in a navigation plane (N), end points (30) of the drill holes on the bottom of a round (22) and further the directions and lengths of the drill holes. The face of the round is designed to have a desired shape by determining the locations of the end points for the desired face profile (31). A three-dimensional face profile is entered into the design program, which subsequently places end points to the face profile automatically.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a software product for designing a drilling pattern, and further to a rock drilling rig, in the control unit of which a software product may be executed for designing the drilling pattern. For a group of holes (14, 15, 16, 32, 17) of the drilling pattern (12), at least one master hole (13a, 13e, 17a, 17b, 35, 45, 48) can be determined which comprises at least one dominating factor. The properties of at least one other drill hole are determined on the basis of the dominating properties of the master hole. A master hole may be a hole location master, hole depth master
