Abstract:
The disclosure is generally directed to a marker system (10) and, more particularly, to a marker system comprising a first instrument (12a) , a second instrument (12b) , and a connector cap (14) for receiving the first and second instruments (12a, 12b) .
Abstract:
A deformable grip for a writing implement (10) having a rigid barrel includes a grip layer (32) connected to the rigid barrel (12). The grip layer is formed of a solid viscoelastic grip material having a hardness of approximately 1 to 80 Shore OO durometer allowing the grip layer to achieve a deformed shape under manual pressure. The grip material further has a shape retention adapted to retain the deformed shape for at least l second. A coating is disposed over the grip layer and is formed of a coating material having a tensile strength of a1 least approximately 50 to 1000 psi and an elongation ratio of at least approximately 50 to 2000 percent. The grip may be formed over a majority of the barrel length to accommodate a variety of grip points and to improve comfort to a user.
Abstract:
A marking instrument includes a body formed with a first end and a second end and sealed at the second end to define a fluid reservoir. The marking instrument includes a tip assembly positioned at the first end having a rigid nib with a fluid path formed longitudinally therethrough. The rigid nib has a first end forming a first spreader surface and a second end adjacent to the fluid reservoir and cooperates with a shiftable valve positioned within the fluid path. The shiftable valve includes a valve actuator having a contact surface position substantially adjacent to the first spreader surface. The tip assembly may further include an adjustable nib having a second spreader surface adapted to be positioned adjacent the first spreader surface to form a composite spreader surface.
Abstract:
A method comprising: displaying, on a user interface, label data in a label preview image region in accordance with a first label option; selecting a second, different label option by scrolling from said first label option to said second label option; wherein at least some of said label data is displayed in an updated label preview image in accordance with said second label option.
Abstract:
A method comprising: selecting a type of label to be printed; inputting information for said label to be printed, wherein said information comprises label data defining content of an image to be printed, and parameter data defining at least one parameter of the label to be printed; saving said information for said label to be printed as a file in a memory, and providing said file with a file extension name indicative of the type of label.
Abstract:
An eraser assembly having at least one eraser, an eraser holder having a first rim including at least one notch, the eraser being disposed in the eraser holder and an eraser cap having at least one tab extending therefrom. The tab of the eraser cap engages the notch of the eraser holder, thereby securing the cap to the eraser holder and enclosing the eraser.
Abstract:
An irreversible thermochromic ink composition can include thermochromic pigment capsules dispersed in a carrier. The irreversible thermochromic pigment capsules can include an inner core having a color changing dye, a color activator for activating the color changing dye, and a wax, an outer core surrounding the inner core and comprising a color destroying agent, and a shell surrounding the outer core. Alternatively, the irreversible thermochromic pigment capsules can include an inner core having a color destroying agent and a wax, an outer core surrounding the inner core and comprising a color changing dye and a color activator for activating the color changing dye, and a shell surrounding the outer core. Written marks made with the irreversible thermochromic inks can be rendered a different color or substantially colorless by application of a sufficient amount of heat to melt or substantially liquefy the wax in the irreversible thermochromic pigment capsules.
Abstract:
Media organizational devices (10) may be stacked in a nesting configuration in which a first device fits within a storage cavity (11) of a second device and, in turn, is adapted to receive a third organizational device within the storage area of the second organizational device so that multiple devices can be stacked together in a nested configuration. These media organizational devices (10) may contain various numbers of storage receptacles (30, 50, 70) in a single row or in multiple rows side-by-side, with each storage receptacle separated from one another, and with each storage receptacle having its own elevation, enhancing the presentation of the media stored therein. These organizational devices may be used in a vertical standing position on a surface, or may be used in a horizontal, laying position on a surface, or may be mounted in a vertical manner onto a surface.
Abstract:
The disclosure generally relates to fluid dispensers, and more particularly to fluid dispensers comprising a container (12) defining a fluid reservoir and having an opening and a dual applicator assembly (14) removably attached to the container, the dual applicator assembly comprising a cap (34) adapted to substantially seal the opening (18), a writing point (46) disposed in the cap, a stem (52) coupled to the cap, the stem having first and second ends and including a channel (68) through the first end, the channel defining a fluid passageway (70) between the writing point and the fluid reservoir, and an applicator (72) coupled to the second end.
