Abstract:
Techniques are described herein that are capable of intelligently updating a collaboration site or a template that may be used to create a new collaboration site. The collaboration site or the template may be updated to include new features based on (e.g., based at least in part on) a likelihood that the new features will be valuable to users. The likelihood that new features will be valuable to the users may be determined (e.g., derived) using heuristics, machine learning, intelligent user experiences, and/or an understanding of user behavior gathered by a service that provides the collaboration site or the template. The likelihood may be compared to a likelihood threshold to determine whether the collaboration site or the template is to be updated. In accordance with this example, the update may be made if the likelihood is greater than or equal to the likelihood threshold.
Abstract:
A digital collaborative publishing system and associated method of use, the system being configured to store one or more format-neutral text documents and a plurality of format templates, each format template comprising formatting information for formatting text documents. The format-neutral text documents are separate from the plurality of format templates. The system is configured to selectively apply a format template from the plurality of format templates to the at least one format-neutral text document in order to produce, save, store and/or display at least one formatted document.
Abstract:
In some embodiments, methods and systems are provided that provide for delivering products to customers while analyzing and satisfying product-associated and/or delivery location-associated restrictions. The delivery attempt of the products is commenced after the product-associated restrictions are determined to be satisfied. The delivery of the product or products to the customer or an authorized person is authorized after the delivery location-associated restrictions are determined to be satisfied.
Abstract:
A system for explaining tax questions for an electronic tax return preparation program includes a computing device having a tax logic agent and a user interface controller. The computing device executes the tax logic agent, which analyzes a completeness graph to identify a required variable. The tax logic agent also determines whether an explanation asset is indexed to the required variable in the completeness graph, and sends an identity of the required variable to a user interface controller. The user interface controller generates a tax question corresponding to the required variable. When the tax logic agent determines that an explanation asset is indexed to the required variable in the completeness graph, the computing device presents the tax question and the explanation asset. When an explanation asset is not indexed to the required variable in the completeness graph, the computing device presents the tax question without the explanation asset.
Abstract:
A unified content publishing system permits packaging and publishing of content items to multiple sites at once. Content items are grouped together using content groupings. A single content grouping may be assigned for publication through multiple sites. The content grouping may furthermore be assigned template data and layout data for generating a content package comprising information about the content items in the content grouping. To simplify publication, the template data and layout data may be used to publish the content grouping across all sites to which the content grouping has been assigned. Content packages may be manipulated across multiple sites simply by editing the content grouping, the assigned template data, and/or the assigned layout data. A construct referred to herein as a placeholder facilitates the above mappings. Subsites may be generated for different language profiles or other attributes, and placeholders may be pushed to all subsites having specified attributes.
Abstract:
A solution for managing branding for an entity is provided. The solution can generate a brand style guide by analyzing electronic entity identity resources, which are representative of one or more branding strategies for the entity. The analysis can include extracting entity brand attributes from each electronic entity identity resource. Illustrative entity brand attributes can include one or more of: image data, font data, color data, or text. An ad hoc style guide, which can include at least one branding strategy for the entity can be generated and provided for presentation to a user.
Abstract:
Providing a web application that allows users to build applications by interacting with visualizations of code portions. A first application is generated that provides a user interface that includes at least a canvas that comprises a creation area within the user interface in which a user can create a second application. The user interface also includes one or more controls that allow a user to interact with visualizations of code portions using gestures to thereby create the second application on the canvas. The canvas allows a user to create the second application from scratch, such that no template to create the second application is provided. At least one of the one or more controls allows a user to input declarative code in the creation of the second application.
Abstract:
A system that documents work to be performed at a specific location over a specific period of time by specific personnel on designated equipment by guiding a human user to create a unique, accurate, and complete document.
