Abstract: A system and a method of controlling the leaves (210) of a radiation aperture (200) are disclosed. The system and method allow the delivery of different radiation fluences to different parts of a volume (100) in a single rotation of the aperture (200) around the volume. In embodiments, different radiation fluences are achieved by radiating different parts of the volume (100) from opposing positions (340, 350, 360, 370) of the aperture (200) around the volume (100). In further embodiments, different radiation fluences are achieved by assigning different leaf pairs to radiate different parts of the volume (100).
