Provided are water treatment apparatus and method for controlling water treatment apparatus. The water treatment apparatus includes a filtering unit including a deionizing filter removing total dissolved solids contained in inflow water by an application of power, a water output unit outputting water filtered by the filtering unit; and a control unit controlling power that is applied to the deionizing filter to control total dissolved solids (TDS) contained in water filtered by the deionizing filter, or a reduction rate of total dissolved solids by the deionizing filter.

There are provided a warm water supply device and a warm water supply method, and more particularly, an instant warm water supply device and an instant warm water supply method capable of supplying warm water within a short time by controlling a flow rate. The warm water supply device includes: a heater heating water introduced therein with a heating capacity; an introduction valve adjusting an amount of water introduced to the heater; and a valve controller controlling a degree of opening and closing of the introduction valve by using a target water temperature and the heating capacity.

There is provided an instantaneous heating apparatus configured to heat introduced water, while water is flowing therein, to a certain temperature by means of a heating unit during which the generation of steam is minimized. The instantaneous heating apparatus includes: a main body having an inlet through which water is introduced and an outlet through which water is expelled; and a heating unit provided in the main body and configured to heat water introduced into the main body, wherein at least one of the main body and the heating unit is configured such that water introduced into the main body through the inlet is heated to a predetermined required temperature while flowing for a certain period of time and the generation of steam is minimized.
