Abstract: A hydraulic control system (24) for a work machine (10) is disclosed. The hydraulic control system has a source (26) of pressurized fluid and at least one actuator (20) having a first and a second chamber (58, 56). The hydraulic control system also has a first independent metering valve (36) disposed between the source and the first chamber, and a second independent metering valve (34) disposed between the reservoir and the second chamber. The first and second independent metering valves each have a valve element movable between a flow blocking and a flow passing position to facilitate movement of the at least one actuator. The hydraulic control system further has an accumulator (40) and a third independent metering valve (42) disposed between the source and the first independent metering valve. The third independent metering valve is configured to selectively communicate the accumulator with the first chamber to cushion movement of the at least one actuator.

Abstract: A control system (48) for a machine is disclosed. The control system may have a pump (51, 53) driven, a low pressure reservoir (64), and at least one actuator (26, 32, 34) connected to receive fluid pressurized by the pump and discharge fluid to the low pressure reservoir. The control system may also have a bypass passage (109, 113) situated to allow fluid to bypass the at least one actuator, and a warmup valve (105) disposed within the bypass passage and being movable between a flow-passing position and a flow-blocking position. The control system may further have a hydraulic temperature sensor (98) configured to generate a signal indicative of a temperature of the fluid, and a controller (112) in communication with the pump, the warmup valve, and the hydraulic temperature sensor. The controller may be configured to move the warmup valve to the flow-passing position, fix a displacement position of the pump, and adjust an input speed of the pump in response to the signal.
