    摘要: A delivery system assembly (200) includes an elongate inner member (220) that extends distally through a lumen of an elongate outer tube (230) of the assembly; the outer tube is moveable relative to the inner member between first and second positions to deploy an implantable medical device (100) that is held within the outer tube lumen. The inner member includes a flared distal end (222) that abuts and conforms to the proximal end of the device, when the device is held within the outer tube lumen. The assembly further includes a stability sheath (250) that surrounds a limited length of the outer tube, in proximity to a handle (210), to provide an interface for both an operator, who handles the assembly, and for an introducer sheath that provides passage for the assembly into the venous system, so that movement of the outer tube is not hindered by either during device deployment.

    摘要: Delivery devices and methods for percutaneously delivering a prosthetic valve to the heart of a patient. These prosthetic valves may be configured to provide complimentary features that promote optimal placement of the prosthetic valve in a native heart valve, such as the aortic valve, mitral valve, pulmonic valve, and/or tricuspid valve. The delivery device includes a release sheath (154) assembly housed within an outer delivery sheath (52). A release sheath component of the assembly captures a portion of the prosthetic valve (32) to the delivery device, and effectuates complete release of the prosthetic valve with retraction of- the outer sheath.
