The present invention provides an aqueous extract of Andrographis paniculata leaves containing as main components andrographolide, neoandrographolide and 14-deoxy-11,12-didehydroandrographolide. The Invention also provides a method of production of said extract, comprising the steps of drying the leaves of Andrographis paniculata, and extracting them with water at a temperature of at least 50 °C. The aqueous extract of Andrographis paniculata Leaves Is suitable for use as cognition enhancing agent having antineuroinflammatory and antioxidative effects.
Abstract:
A method for producing an organoleptic acceptable and quality stable product to act as delivery system of lipophilic nutrients from red palm olein is provided as a preferred embodiment of the present invention. Microcapsules comprised of red palm olein are prepared by preparing oil in water emulsion and subsequently dried with a flow of heat. The microcapsules are in the form of a solid state delivery system. The moisture content of the product is less than 10%. Once dried, the products can be packaged and stored at room temperature for long periods of time.

The present invention provides a composition for controlling snail of Pomacea sp., which contains saponins from Furcraea selloa , water, emulsifier and surfactant, and is in the form of nanoemulsion having an average particle size below 500 nm. It further provides a method of controlling snail of Pomacea sp. in a rice field, which involves the step of applying said composition to the rice field.

The present invention is a new composition of matter i.e. high dielectric permittivity La 0.4 Ba 0.6 Mn 0.4 Ti 0.6 O 3 ceramic and can be used as components of a capacitor. The dielectric properties possess in this material has improved tremendously as compared to the existing dielectric component. The finding of high dielectric permittivity in the present invention ceramic according to its formulation and processing technique that can operate or use at wide range frequencies and temperatures are very useful in electronic and electrical devices. The present invention is best for applications at the range of temperatures. The permittivity is recorded at 1 kHz are between -20,000 to -54,000 and almost constant over three decade of frequency. Thus, the dielectric permittivity obtained can be used as energy storage, sensor, electric filter, etc., besides minimizing the devices size.

The present invention relates an improved feed additive or food supplement formulation obtained from more than one strain of Lactic acid bacteria. The feed additive or supplements is used to feed monogastric animals such as avian, fowl. Moreover, the feed provides better growth and feed utilization for monogastric animals. Further, the animal feed can be used for controlling food intake in the animals.

The present invention provides method on preparing noodle products regardless in any form which contain stable delivery of lipophilic antioxidants from the source of red palm olein. A solid state delivery system which is invented was introduced into the noodle preparation steps. Noodles are prepared by mixing flour, water, red palm olein solid state delivery system and other ingredients into a dough. The dough can be shaped into noodles and precooked with steam. The fresh noodles are dried with a flow of high velocity air at temperature of between 30-110°C to moisture content less than about 15%. Once dried, the products can be packaged as a brick and the product can be stored at ambient temperature for long periods of time.
