    Abstract: A method for authenticating user terminal in IMS network, the method includes: with regard to user request, Service-Call Session Control Function(S-CSCF) entity creates the authentication challenge utilizing Digest Authentication Algorithm, and sends the authentication challenge to user terminal through Proxy- Call Session Control Function(P-CSCF) entity; the user terminal creates the authentication response utilizing Digest Authentication Algorithm according to the user key and associated parameters with said authentication challenge, and sends the authentication response to S-CSCF entity through S-CSCF entity; S-CSCF entity authenticates said authentication response utilizing Digest Authentication Algorithm according to HAI and associated parameters, if the authentication passes, then determines that the user terminal is authenticated successfully, otherwise, determines that the user terminal is authenticated failure.

    Abstract: A method for implementing the disaster recovery of IMS includes: S-CSCF receives the register of the user, and backups the data that is necessary when renewing the user service process to the memory entity in the network; the I-CSCF homing the user receives the service request of the user; if it finds the current S-CSCF serving for the user fails, it distributes the new S-CSCF for the user and forwards the said service request to the new distributing S-CSCF; the new distributing S-CSCF enquires the user contract data and the former S-CSCF backup data from the memory entity, and renews the user service process according to the contract data and the backup data. There is also an apparatus for implementing disaster recovery of IMS. Using the technical proposal provided by the invention, after S-CSCF fails, the affected user can immediately renew the service when establishing a call, without waiting for the re-register triggered by the re-register timer of the user terminal to renew the network service, so as to implement to improve the network reliability without increasing the system burden.

    Abstract: A method for realizing the IMS network reliability is provided, in order to solve the issue that the user service in existing IMS is interrupted for a long term as a result of invalidation of network entity during the time period from the user successfully registering to the user initiating reregistration; the method comprises: the first network entity in IMS network acquires whether the second network entity which stores the data associated with the user registration is invalid; and if the first network entity acquires that the second network entity is invalid, then notifies the registered user to reregister. A method for acquiring the state change of the network entity within the IMS network is also provided.
