    摘要: Provided are two-component curable compositions and methods thereof. The composition includes a base component comprised of a curable resin and a first compressible filler dispersed therein. The composition further includes a curative component comprised of a curing agent and a second compressible filler dispersed therein. The base and curative components react with each other upon mixing to provide a crosslinked network. When used with automated metering pumps, the compressibility of the base and curing agent components can be matched, allowing for a constant mix ratio despite variability in applied pressure.

The combined amounts of the thiol-containing and ethylenically-unsaturated compounds total at least 50 percent by weight of all polymerizable material in the polymerizable composition. The composition may be provide as a two-part composition. Polymerized reaction product of the composition and methods of making the composition are also disclosed.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a polymeric material including a polymerized reaction product of a polymerizable composition including components and has a solids content of 90% or greater. The components include a uretdione-containing material including a reaction product of a diisocyanate reacted with itself; a first hydroxyl-containing compound; an optional second hydroxyl-containing compound having a single OH group; an epoxy component; and an accelerator. The first hydroxyl-containing compound has more than one OH group and the optional second hydroxyl-containing compound is a primary alcohol or a secondary alcohol. The present disclosure also provides a two-part composition, in which a polymeric material is included in the first part and the second part includes at least one thiol-containing compound. Further, a method of adhering two substrates is provided, including obtaining a two-part composition; combining at least a portion of the first part with at least a portion of the second part to form a mixture; disposing at least a portion of the mixture on a first substrate; and contacting a second substrate with the mixture disposed on the first substrate. The disclosure also provides a polymeric material and a method of making a two-part composition. Advantageously, two-part compositions according to the present disclosure can be used as coatings and adhesive systems with handling and performance similar to existing two-part urethane systems, but with less sensitivity to water.

    摘要: The composition includes a first amino-functional silane including an amino group and a silane group, in which the amino group and the silane group are connected by an organic linking group, and a second amino-functional silane including a secondary or tertiary amino group and least two independently selected silane groups, in which the secondary or tertiary amino group is connected to each of the two independently selected silane groups by organic linking groups. The first amino-functional silane can be a polyamino-functional silane having at least two amino groups and a silane group in which at least one of the amino groups and the silane group are connected by an organic linking group. The composition can include a photoluminescent compound exhibiting photoluminescence at an excitation wavelength above 400 nanometers. Use of the composition as an adhesion promoter and a method including applying the composition to a substrate surface are also disclosed.
