    Abstract: A transportation refrigeration unit, which is configured to defrost the evaporator coil of an evaporator, is provided with improvements to a power transfer mechanism. The power transfer mechanism incorporates a coupling mechanism that can transfer power from the condenser fan to the evaporator fan. In one embodiment, the coupling mechanism is encapsulated in a housing, which forms an interior cavity for receiving a lubricating fluid therein. The interior cavity is such that the coupling mechanism is immersed in the lubricating fluid.

    Abstract: An insulated panel comprises an external sheet 2, an internal lining sheet 3 and an insulating case 4 between the external and internal sheets. Indicating means are provided on an external face of a male projecting part 10 of the external sheet to indicate correct alignment of the panels at the joint. The indicating means may comprise a black line 26 printed on the outwardly extending leg 20 of the male projecting part 10. When the line 26 is aligned with an edge of an adjacent pane a visual indication is provided that the joint is correct.

    Abstract: An insulated panel (1) for cold-stores comprises an external sheet (2), an internal sheet (3) with an insulating core (4) therebetween. The external sheet (2) and internal sheet (3) have profiled joint-forming portions which interengage on assembly of adjacent panels. Both the external sheet (2) and the internal sheet (3) are turned back to define a male projecting part (10, 11) on one side and a female recess part (12, 13) on an opposite side of a panel. Each male part (10, 11) comprises an outwardly extending leg (20) and an inwardly extending leg (21) which terminates in a clip portion (22) which is embedded in the insulating core (4) . The corresponding recesses (12, 13) are formed by similarly shaping the ends of the external and internal sheets (2, 3). The insulating core at the edges of the panel between the joint forming portions engage on assembly to provide an insulated substantially air-tight joint. The exposed section of the insulating core is of generally trapezoidal shape with a male part (30) defined at one edge and a female recess part (31) defined at an opposite edge.
