Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an RFID device comprising an IC module and at least one flexible antenna electrically connected to the IC module. The flexible antenna has at least two degrees of freedom in the Cartesian space in respect to the IC module.
Abstract:
A connector assembly comprising: - a first connector comprising a first locking feature (22); - a second connector comprising a second locking feature (31) cooperating with the first locking feature (22); a mating detection device (1) adapted to take a first electrical state when the first and second connectors are in a locked state; the mating detection device is mechanically prevented from taking the first state until the first and second locking features (22, 31) lock said first and second connectors together.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of making an RFID tag comprising the steps of: a) providing a dielectric substrate (502); b) forming on said substrate an antenna circuit (515), said antenna circuit comprising more than one turn (515) and a first (521) and second (522) antenna terminals, said first terminal comprising an arm portion (5211) and a terminal end (5212), c) cutting out said dielectric substrate to form a dielectric tongue (540), d) bending said dielectric tongue so that a portion of said dielectric tongue is used as an insulating layer between said more than one turn and a conductive path between said first and second.
Abstract:
A flat substrate destined for an identification card, made of a flexible material and having two opposite main faces, the flat substrate comprising: - a loop shaped antenna (8) for contactless communication, disposed on at least one main face; a plurality of contacts (7) for establishing an electrical connection by contact with a card reader terminal on one of said two main faces.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an RFID tag comprising a substrate (1). A plurality of conductive patterns (2) is formed onto a first surface of the substrate (1). Each conductive pattern has at least a first and a second connection ends. An electronic chip (3) is electrically connected the first and the second connection ends. Laminated cover layer overlays the conductive patterns. The cover layer is provided with through-holes (6) of a dimension larger than the electronic chip (3) so as to expose the electronic chip. The through-holes (6) are filled with an encapsulation material (7).
Abstract:
A connector comprising : an insulating housing (6); two terminals (9a, 9b) disposed inside the housing; a filter element (13) inside the housing for filtering an electrical signal; wherein the filter element (13) is essentially provided by the terminal configuration itself.
Abstract:
An electrical connector (1) according to the invention comprises an insulating case (3) and at least one electrical contact (4, 13). This electrical contact permits electrically coupling a smart card (2) to at least one electrically conductive track (8) printed on a support (7). In order to increase the performance of such an electrical connector, the invention also provides for increasing the elasticity of at least one electrical contact. To do this, the invention provides for making the electrical contact by forming at least one first curve (40, 41) made near an anchoring point of the contact on the case and at least one second curve (42, 43) made at an area distant from this same anchoring point.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a PCMCIA electronic housing (1). Such a housing comprises an upper cover (2) and a lower cover (3), the upper cover and the lower cover are connected to form a cavity (5) inside of which is placed an electronic card (4). Such a housing is equipped with at least one antenna (51, 29, 39, 42, 45, 46) designed to communicate information to at least one electronic component (11) that is placed on the electronic card. To reduce the bulkiness of this housing equipped with such an antenna, the invention provides that the antenna be interposed between one of the covers and the card, and that at least one part of an external surface (47, 48) of the cover corresponding to a location of an internal surface (49, 50) of this same cover opposite from which is placed the antenna, is lacking metalizing.
Abstract:
Integrated unit (1) having a connector (3) mounted on a printed circuit (2), the connector having a support (4) in which are placed a first blade (5) and a second blade (10) linked to the printed circuit, the first blade having on an upper side (8) of the support, an extension (7) forming an antenna (6). This first blade is preferably formed by the metallisation of the plastic support. The second blade comes into contact with the first blade. The support has a cavity (18) to receive a coaxial plug (25) and thus to switch the connection between the first and second blades, for a new connection between this second blade and the coaxial plug.
