Abstract:
The invention pertains to a handle (1) for sanitary tapware, especially single-lever sanitary tapware, with a handle base body (2) and a handle cap (3), the base body (2) having a handle section (4) and an attachment section (5), the cap (3) being detachably secured to the base body (2) in a capping region (6) on the top of the handle section (4) and/or the attachment section (5). To be able to detach the cap (3) from the base body (2) simply and repeatedly without fear of damage or need of a tool, the invention provides that the base body (2) and the cap (3) are equipped with mating retention means that work together to join the base body (2) and the cap (3) in such a way that the cap (3) can first be set down in the capping region (6) of the base body (2) and then slid in slide direction (B) approximately perpendicular to the set-down direction (A), thereby effecting a clamping between the retention means, until the cap (3) essentially covers the capping region (6) completely.
Abstract:
The disadvantages of existing cover surrounds for wall-mounted bathroom fittings are avoided by the invention by virtue of the fact that the cover surround comprises an inner supporting plate (10) fastened to the wall (7) and an outer cover plate (11). The inner supporting plate (10) is preferably designed to be held in place by fixation means (13), while the outer cover plate (11) can be clipped over the inner supporting plate (10), thus concealing the fixation means (13) used to fasten the supporting plate (10).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a flow limiter, in particular to be placed at the outlet of sanitary water appliances, with at least one choke member (1), comprising a passage (4), and with a choke slide valve (2) extending parallel to the choke member (1). The choke slide valve (2) bears against the member (1) and can rotate towards the latter. The choke slide valve (2) further comprises at least one passage (3) such that different amounts can flow through depending on the position of the choke slide valve with respect to the choke member.
Abstract:
A thermostat-regulated sanitary mixing tap has a cold water inlet (1), a hot water inlet (2), a mixed water outlet, a temperature control and regulation block (5), a control and regulation piston (6), temperature-dependent regulating means (7) which cooperate with the control and regulation piston (6), an actuating lever, restoring spring means (35) which bias the control and regulation piston (6) in the direction of the regulating means (7), a cold water ring-shaped chamber (15) and an adjacent hot water ring-shaped chamber (16). To control the temperature, the control and regulation piston (6) may be set at an initial position with respect to the temperature control and regulation block (5), in order to determine the initial temperature, and may be controlled by the regulating means (7) in order to regulate the temperature. In order to prevent the temperature of the mixed water from being affected by any leakage currents from the cold water (15) and/or hot water (16) ring-shaped chambers and to achieve a control and/or regulation which is as free as possible from such influences, at least one ring-shaped sealing membrane (16) provided between the temperature control and regulation block (5) and the control and regulation piston (6) insulates the cold water ring-shaped chamber (15) from the hot water ring-shaped chamber (16) or insulates the cold water (15) and/or the hot water (16) ring-shaped chambers fromthe outside.
Abstract:
A passage choke, especially for the outlet of sanitary water installations which can be fitted between the end of a pipe outlet and an air bubbler or a jet regulator and is fitted with a passage aperture (8) advantageously having a point of break (12) to enlarge it.
Abstract:
A sanitary fitting has a body (1) that can be fixed in place and that is provided with an inlet (2), if necessary a discharge and an outlet (3). A sleeve (4) with a discharge arm (5) provided with a discharge snout (6) connected with the outlet (3) in order to ensure the flow therethrough is inserted on the body (1). A valve unit (7) is mounted on the body (1) with packing rings (10) in the area of the outlet (3). In order to technically simplify the use of such a fitting, a flow stabilizer (13) is arranged on the water outlet side of the valve unit (7), i.e. in the outlet (3) and/or discharge, in particular at their beginning.
Abstract:
An item of bathroom furniture is designed to be easily adaptable for further accessory uses. To this end, the item of furniture is fitted with a towel rail (12, 15).
Abstract:
A main shut-off valve, in particular for the water supply of buildings, comprises a valve housing for connection to the associated pipeline and a closure element which moves in the housing and which can be closed gradually by means of a handle. To ensure easy access to the valve and leak-free action even after long periods of non-use, the closure element consists of at least two ceramic disks (14, 16; 15) provided with passages (17) and arranged in the housing. One disk (15) can be rotated relative to the other disk (14, 16) and is coupled with the handle (22, 26) via a gear (24, 26), which can be driven by a drive (20) whose operating path (21) passes radially through the valve housing (13).
Abstract:
A sanitary mixing tap controlled by a thermostat has an actuating appliance, a fixed tap-seat disk (20), a disk pack which slides on the tap-seat disk (20) for flow-monitoring and a temperature-dependent control element (39). The tap-seat disk (20) includes a warm-water inlet opening (21) and a cold-water inlet opening (22). The disk-pack consists in a lower guiding disk (23), an upper guiding disk (24) and a control disk (25), arranged between the lower guiding disk (23) and the upper guiding disk (24). The lower guiding disk (23) and the control disk (25) have through-openings (28/29; 33/34) communicating with the warm-water inlet opening (21); the cold-water inlet opening (22) of the tap-seat disk (20) and the upper guiding disk (24) have pressure-compensation chambers (36) communicating with the through-openings (33, 34) of the control disk (25). The position of the control disk (25) relative to the guiding disks (23, 24) can be adjusted by means of the actuating appliance to a starting position which determines the temperature; the control disk (25) can also be monitored to regulate the temperature by means of the temperature-dependent monitoring element (39). The regulating disk (25) according to said invention can be monitored with greater accuracy and speed by means of the temperature-dependent regulating element (39), so that the set temperature of the water mixture stays constant, showing no noticeable variations. This is achieved through the fact that said mixing tap includes at least one mixing chamber (35) communicating with the through-openings (28, 29) of the lower guiding disk (23) and/or with the pressure-compensation chambers (36) of the upper guiding disk (24) and through the fact that the temperature-dependent regulating element (39) is arranged in the mixing chamber (35) of the regulating disk (25) and/or in a recess (32) communicating with said mixing chamber (35).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a low-pressure reservoir (1) comprising a storage tank (2) from which warm water is drawn by the addition of cold water. To prevent the faucet connected to the low-pressure reservoir (1) from dripping, the invention provides for the storage tank (2) to be fitted with a tank volume adjustment device (5) which increases the volume of the storage tank (2) when the water contained therein is heated and reduces the volume when the water cools down.
