Abstract:
A cooking apparatus (100) comprising: a housing (110); a cooking compartment (120) arranged at the housing, the cooking compartment being configured to form a first enclosed space in which food item can be received; a heating unit (130) arranged inside a second enclosed space in the housing, wherein the cooking compartment comprises an air inlet through which air can enter from a side of the cooking compartment, and an air outlet through which air can exit from an opposite side of the cooking compartment, and wherein the air inlet and the air outlet are connected to the second enclosed space such that air heated by the heating unit can circulate between the second enclosed space and the cooking compartment.
Abstract:
A system is provided for assisting the development of an adult-child attachment relationship. One or more child physiological or behavioral signals are sensed for the adult and the child. An adult-child activity is chosen by the system and an association between the adult and child signals is analyzed so as to estimate a level of synchrony between the adult and child associated with the selected adult-child activity. An output is generated which depends on the level of synchrony.
Abstract:
A food preparation system weighs ingredients added to a receptacle. For identified ingredient and its added weight, a corresponding amount of a set of different sugar type is estimated, and a total sugar content and a sweetness index of the overall recipe is derived. The system determines if there are suitable alternative recipes with reduced total sugar content and similar sweetness index and suggests such determined alternative recipes to the user.
Abstract:
A milk storage container for use with a breast pump has a head for attachment to a breast pump and a base part which defines a plurality of individual compartments. The compartments are rigid or semi-rigid so that they can easily be cleaned and sterilized and frozen milk is removable individually from the compartments.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a set of consumables comprising at least two consumables for use in a beverage dispenser for preparation of a beverage. To enable the recognition of placement and/or type of consumable in a simple, foolproof and easily implementable way each consumable (4, 40, 50, 60) of said set comprises a filtering body (41) defining a space containing a food substance, from which the beverage is obtained by use of liquid, and a recognition element (42) representing a surface of the filtering body facing a plurality of nozzles of the beverage dispenser for recognizing the type of consumable, said plurality of nozzles being provided for providing a flow of liquid through the consumable. The recognition element (42) has a mechanical property, which is recognizable and/or interpretable by the beverage dispenser by obtaining a sensor signal by sensing a flow characteristic of the flow of liquid, when the flow of liquid through the consumable is started by the plurality of nozzles. Said mechanical property is different for each type of consumable of the set of consumables so that a characteristic of said sensor signal depends on the mechanical property of the recognition element (42).
Abstract:
A food processing apparatus (10) is disclosed for reducing a sugar content of a food product. The food processing apparatus comprises a food processing compartment (30) including a blade arrangement (32); a base (20) including a motor (22) arranged to drive the blade arrangement; a heating arrangement (24) for heating a food product in the food processing compartment; and a controller (60) arranged to control the motor and the heating arrangement. The controller is arranged to, in a fermentation mode of operation of said food processing apparatus, operate the motor to grind the food product with the blade arrangement; operate the heating arrangement such as to heat the ground food product to a temperature in a range of 30-40°C; and terminate said mode of operation after a period of time indicative of the completion of said mode of operation. Also disclosed is a method of reducing the sugar content of a food product with such a food processing apparatus.
Abstract:
Computer implemented methods and systems of flagging a portion of a recording of a patient interaction with a clinical professional for review. A method comprises acquiring a recording of a patient interaction with a clinical professional, acquiring physical data relating to a physical state of the patient during the recording, and based on the physical data, flagging a portion of the recording for review.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a consumable recognition system for recognizing placement and/or type of consumable containing a food substance for the preparation of a beverage by use of a beverage dispenser. To enable the recognition of placement and/or type of consumable in a simple, foolproof and easily implementable way an embodiment of the system comprises a light source (31, 301, 311, 321, 331, 341) for emitting light (35) to the consumable (4a, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90), a light sensor (32 302, 312, 322, 332, 342) for sensing light (36) reflected from a reflection element (42, 52, 63, 73, 83, 93) of the consumable to obtain a sensor signal, wherein the sensor signal depends on the position, orientation, fluorescence, phosphorescence and/or polarization characteristic of said reflection element, and a signal processor (33) for recognizing placement and/or type of consumable based on said sensor signal.
Abstract:
A food processing apparatus (10) is disclosed for reducing a sugar content of a food product (1). The food processing apparatus comprises a food processing compartment (30) including a blade arrangement (28) and a fluid release valve (37); a base (20) including a motor (22) arranged to drive the blade arrangement; a heating arrangement (40, 42) for heating a food product in the food processing compartment with steam, the heating arrangement comprising a water tank (40) in fluid communication with the food processing compartment (30) and a heating element (42) thermally coupled to said water tank and under control of said controller (60; and a controller (60) arranged to control the motor and the heating element. The controller is arranged to control the heating element such as to heat the food product in the food processing arrangement with steam for a defined period of time; and control the motor to blend the food product upon termination of the heating of the food product for said defined period of time and upon releasing steam condensate generated during the heating of the food product from the food processing compartment through said fluid release valve. Also disclosed is a method of for reducing a sugar content of a food product (1) with such a food processing apparatus.
Abstract:
A coffee dispensing apparatus (200) includes a base (210) and an at least one nozzle (208). Further, base (210) and nozzle (208) are arranged such that the dispensed coffee flows via inner upstanding wall (214a) of a standard sized coffee container (212). The coffee thus collected in the container has an aesthetically improved crema.
