The invention relates to electromagnetically operated or released friction brakes, with mechanical elements generating and transmitting the breaking force, with elastic rings, specially O rings as a means to absorb impacts or vibrations, specially noises, said rings being inserted in recesses of a mechanical element facing another mechanical element and comprising an overmeasure for producing a prestress. Such silencing should be able to work even when greater forces are brought to bear. To this end, the O rings (11) are lodged excentrically to the axis of the brakes, wherein resistant elastic plates (12) to guide the O rings (11) can be used inside the O rings (11). The invention relates to electrodeposition paint pigments, wherein the electrodeposition paints are platelet-shaped metal effect pigments coated with at least one coating means, and the coating means (a) has one or more functional groups for the adherence or connection to the pigment surface, and (b) an amino-functional group, wherein the amino-functional group can be protonated, or is positively charged. The invention further relates to a method for the production of these electrodeposition paint pigments, and its use, and a cathodic electrodeposition paint containing the pigments according to the invention.
