Abstract: A vehicle (2) shown herein is a side by side powersports vehicle (2) having a utility bed (670) recessed in the rear body portion (1024, 672) below an upper surface (1422), the utility bed (670) forming a stepped portion (1194, 1196, 1390, 1392, 1960A, 1994A, 898A, 898B) relative to the rear body portion (1024, 672) and having a maximum lateral width greater than a diameter of at least one of the wheels (4), and a minimum width less than a diameter of at least one of the wheels (4), whereby a spare wheel may be stored on the stepped portion (1194, 1196, 1390, 1392, 1960A, 1994A, 898A, 898B) of the utility bed (670). As shown herein, the utility bed (670) is defined as a removable tub (670), which can be removed from the rear body portion (1024, 672). The utility bed (670) has defined troughs in a floor thereof angled rearwardly wherein the utility bed (670) has drains which drain away from any heat source of the vehicle (2). The seats (24) of the vehicle (2) allow longitudinal movement and tilt capability.

Abstract: A seating arrangement for a vehicle is shown to include a plurality of seats, including at least two front seats, at least two rear seats, and a rear jump seat positioned intermediate the two rear seats. The jump seat comprises a seat back which is positioned rearwardly of the rear seats, and the rear seats are movable laterally between a first position where the rear seats are proximate to each other and generally covering the seat back of the jump seat, and a second position where the rear seats are spaced apart from each other and the seat back of the jump seat is exposed. The arrangement may also include rear seats which are rotatable relative to the seat backs to provide a storage surface.
