Abstract: A vehicle (2) shown herein is a side by side powersports vehicle (2) having a utility bed (670) recessed in the rear body portion (672) below an upper surface, the utility bed (670) forming a stepped portion (730) relative to the rear body portion (672) and having a maximum lateral width greater than a diameter of at least one of the wheels (4, 6), and a minimum width less than a diameter of at least one of the wheels (4, 6), whereby a spare wheel may be stored on the stepped portion (730) of the utility bed (670). As shown herein, the utility bed (670) is defined as a removable tub (670), which can be removed from the rear body portion (672). The utility bed (670) has defined troughs in a floor thereof angled rearwardly wherein the utility bed (670) has drains which drain away from any heat source of the vehicle (2). The seats (24, 26) of the vehicle (2) allow longitudinal movement and tilt capability.
