Abstract: Various embodiments of methods of managing data measurement reporting may include sending from an application processor of a user equipment (UE) to a modem of the UE an attention (AT) command to configure the modem to send an unsolicited result code in response to receiving a pause command or a resume command related to sending of application level measurement information being gathered by the UE, receiving a pause command from a network element while sending of application level measurement information being gathered by the UE to the network element, sending from the modem to the application processor an unsolicited result code including a pause indication or instruction to temporarily pause sending of the application level measurement information in response to the received pause command and the AT command, and pausing sending of the application level measurement information by the modem in response to the pause command.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a network entity within a wireless communications network. The UE may transmit a request for information to the network entity and, in response to the request, the UE may receive the requested information from the network entity. For example, the UE may request data from one or more data repositories associated with the network entity. In some examples, the information request may be associated with one or more measurements associated with operations of the network. In some instances, the UE may use a machine learning model to perform training or inference based on the information associated with the one or more measurements.

The method further includes reporting the status of the machine learning model for wireless communication using a predetermined resource according to a predetermined format. The method also includes falling back to communicating with a fallback procedure, instead of the machine learning model for wireless communication, to maintain wireless communication with the network in response to the status of the machine learning model indicating a model failure.

The method further includes transmitting, by the UE to the network device, a response to the request. The response includes first measurement results of the one or more measurement log files selected based on the at least one measurement filter and excludes second measurement results of the one or more measurement log files based on the at least one measurement filter.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, configuration information that indicates one or more first measurement types. Accordingly, the UE may transmit, to the base station, periodically and while the UE is in an idle mode or an inactive state, first measurements based at least in part on the one or more first measurement types indicated in the configuration information. In some aspects, the UE may further transmit, to the base station, second measurements based at least in part on a second measurement type. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for capability indications by a reduced capability user equipment (UE) and UE-based performance measurement parameter reporting or self-organizing network (SON) parameter reporting based on the capability indications. A reduced capability UE may transmit a set of capabilities to a base station that indicate various types of parameter reporting that are supported at the UE. The base station may identify the UE as a reduced capability device, and set one or more reporting parameters based on the indicated UE capabilities. The base station may provide a reporting configuration to the UE with the one or more reporting parameters, and the UE may provide reporting of measured parameters (e.g., performance measurement parameter reporting or SON parameter reporting) based on the reporting configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, devices use machine learning (ML) models to support wireless communications. For example, a user equipment (UE) may download ML model information from a network to determine an ML model. The network may additionally configure a status reporting procedure, a fallback procedure, or both for the ML model. In some examples, based on a configuration, the UE may transmit a status report to a base station according to a reporting periodicity, a UE-based trigger, a network-based trigger, or some combination thereof. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may determine to fallback from operating using the ML model to operating in a second mode based on a fallback trigger. In some examples, to restore operating using a downloaded ML model, the UE may download an updated ML model or receive iterative updates to a previously downloaded ML model.
