Abstract:
A method and a system for providing a push service in a wireless communication system adopting an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) scheme or an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) scheme are provided. The method includes when receiving a message from another network or another messaging server, transmitting, at a messaging server, a push service request message to a push server; when a Mobile Station (MS) of which the push service is requested using the push service request message of the messaging server, operates in an awake mode, transmitting, at the push server, a first push deliver message comprising a message designated for the MS, to a Base Station (BS), and when receiving the first push deliver message, transmitting, at the BS, a second push deliver message based on a Media Access Control (MAC) layer comprising the message designated for the MS, to the MS.
Abstract:
Data retransmission apparatus and method in a wireless relay communication system are provided. It is checked whether an Acknowledgement (ACK) message or a Negative ACK (NACK) message for data is received from a Relay Station (RS), which receives the data from a Mobile Station (MS). Scheduling information for transmitting the data is transmitted to the RS, when the ACK message is received from the RS. Errors are checked for in of the data, when the data is received from the RS. The RS is requested to retransmit the data, when the data has an error. Accordingly, since the RS retransmits only the error-free data to the BS, the BS can enhance the data reliability.
Abstract:
ABSTRACT A method for allocating a band Adaptive Modulation and Coding (AMC) channel in a wireless communication system that divides a full frequency band into a plurality of subcarrier bands and includes subchannels, each of which is a set of a predetermined number of neighbor subcarrier bands. Upon recognizing a need for a band AMC channel, a subscriber station (SS) sends a request for allocation of the band AMC channel to a base station (BS). Upon receiving the band AMC channel allocation request, the BS determines if it can allocate the band AMC channel requested by the SS, considering a resource situation of the BS, and transmits information on the determination to the SS.
Abstract:
A method for controlling access between home devices and servers in a home network system is provided. The method includes determining whether first access of the home devices to each of the servers and second access of the servers to each of the home devices is restricted, and controlling the first access and second access based on respective access rights established according to the determination.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for sending a control message for retransmission in a multihop relay wireless communication system are provided. Data received from a lower node is checked for errors. The data is transmitted to an upper node, when the data has no errors. When two or more messages, which include at least one of Acknowledgement (ACK) messages and Negative ACK (NACK) messages in response to a data reception are received from one or more lower nodes, the two or more messages are transmitted to the upper node at the same time. Accordingly, the RS can transmit the control messages for the ARQ provided from the lower nodes, to the upper node at the same time.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for providing relay link zone information in a multi-hop relay BWA communication system, where a BS performs a network entry procedure with an RS during an initial access of the RS to the BS, generates a message including relay link zone information regarding a relay link zone in which the BS communicates with the RS, processes the message in a physical layer, and transmits the processed message to the RS.
Abstract:
A CID management method and apparatus in a multi-hop relay BWA communication system are provided. A BS combines data destined for an RS and data to be relayed to an MS via the RS in a payload, distinguishing the data by CIDs, attaches a relay CID to the payload, and sends the payload with the relay CID to the RS. Among the data of the payload, the RS processes its data and relays to the MS the data destined for the MS by distinguishing them by the CIDs.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a signal relaying method and system in a communication system including an mobile subscriber station (MSS), a base station (BS), afirst relay station located between the MSS and the BS, a second relay station between the MSS and the BS are provided. In the system, the first relay station or second relay station relays signals between the BS and the MSS if the MSS is within the cell coverage of the BS, and the first second relay station relays signals between the BS and the MSS if the MSS is out of the cell coverage of the BS.
Abstract:
A system is provided that provides a voice call service over a Circuit Switching (CS) domain to a User Equipment (UE) that was receiving a service in a Packet Switching (PS) domain. A Mobile Management Entity (MME) sends a paging message to the UE to provide a service in the CS domain. The MME sends a suspend request message requesting suspension of the service being provided to the UE in the PS domain, upon receiving a report message indicating that the UE has switched to the CS domain. A gateway suspends the service in the PS domain upon receiving the suspend request message from the MME.
Abstract:
A method for forwarding direct message in partial function OFDMA relay system is proposed in present invention. In present invention, the operations like forwarding and reflecting are fixed for the PFRS. Therefore, the BS performs scheduling according to the fixed operations so as to make the PFRS actually has the function of direct message forwarding.
