Abstract: A method for managing operational temperature conditions of one or more base stations being executed at a central computing device in a communication system is provided. The method includes acquiring initial operational parameters for each local computing device of a first group of local computing devices associated with the one or more base stations. The method further includes determining one or more clusters by grouping each local computing device of the first group of local computing devices under one of the determined clusters based on the acquired operational parameters. The method further includes training, a central machine learning (ML) model for each determined cluster. The method further includes acquiring, for each local computing device of a second group of local computing devices associated with the one or more base stations, updated operational parameters. The method further includes computing an operational difference measure of the second group of local computing devices using the acquired updated operational parameters. The method further includes determining optimized operational temperature conditions to be transmitted to the second group of local computing devices by using distributed ML, in response to determining that the computed operational difference measure is less than a threshold value.

Abstract: A regulator system (24) of a regulator regulates administration of subscription identifiers. The regulator system (24) is configured to receive, from either an operator system (10) of a wireless communication network operator or an enterprise system of an enterprise, a record that includes information about administration of a subscription identifier associated with the wireless communication network operator. The regulator system (24) is also configured to verify whether administration of the subscription identifier as indicated by the record conforms to one or more rules (34) governing administration of subscription identifiers. The regulator system (24) is further configured to, depending on the verification, approve or reject the record for addition to a permissioned distributed database (26) (e.g., a permissioned blockchain) that is distributed at least in part between the regulator system (24) and either the operator system (10) or the enterprise system.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to reactive power control in a power system (28). Based on information from a controller (25, 70) scheduling data traffic in a processing arrangement (26), a super capacitor unit (29) is activated, whereby reactive power is fed to a system bus of said power system (28). The controller (25) is configured to have information at time t(n) about the data traffic workload of the processing arrangement at time t(n+1). By triggering discharge of the super capacitor unit based on super capacitor data at time t(n+1), transients on a system bus voltage are, at least in part, smoothed out at time t(n+1), which reduces the need for reactive power of the power system, where said transients are related to the data traffic workload of the processing arrangement. The power efficiency of the power system (28, 38, 48) can be improved by 3 - 4 % by the reduction of the need for reactive power from a power grid (21, 31, 41), for which reason the electrical bill of an operator is reduced.
