Abstract:
This invention consists in an ergonomic extruder in which pastes and creams can be inserted with the principal aim to allow even non-expert users to decorate cakes and desserts in a simple and precise way with minimum effort. The extruder consists of five basic component ts: a large capacity ergonomic tank with continuative beveled sides threaded on the inside. Through the simple operation of screwing a particular screw with a helix handle and plunger, pastes can be extruded onto cakes or desserts with the aid of a plunger tip and a changeable die plate closed by a flanged cap.
Abstract:
A process is disclosed for adhering an edible printed image to a chocolate confectionery product. The process includes providing a transfer sheet having a transparent edible film applied thereon, printing a mirrored image on the transparent edible film using edible ink, applying a layer of a colloidal solution consisting essentially of titanium dioxide and a chocolate-compatible fat overlying the mirrored image. The colloidal solution forms an edible opaque layer with the mirrored image intermediate the transparent edible film and the edible opaque layer. The edible opaque layer is then adhered to a chocolate substrate, thereby affixing the image to the chocolate confectionery product.

Abstract:
Edible composite images including a substrate, an underlying image, an optional lacquer barrier, an overlying image, optional varnish, and optional glaze are provided herein, wherein the overlying image obscures the underlying image at least in part and is removable by wetting or licking to reveal the underlying image. Also provided are edible flavor samples, edible pH-sensitive images, and composite images not intended for consumption.
Abstract:
A messaging lollipop comprises a candy attachment stem extending from a first end of a hollow lollipop handle. The hollow handle is further defined by an internal cavity accessible through a single aperture at a second end of the handle and opposite from the candy attachment stem. An extractable paper scroll contains messaging and is inserted into the cavity through the aperture. The message structure and content may also be of various forms such as printed material or an electronic medium which is received, extracted, stored or transported in the hollow handle. Access to the hollow handle may be sealed by various means including those which motivate the consumption of the lollipop before access to the message is allowed. The handle may also be manufactured from clear plastic to enhance the visibility of the message.
Abstract:
A distributor apparatus for paste or gel products (1, 40) comprises: squeezing/expulsion mechanism (3, 43) of the paste or gel product, or in any case fluid-paste products, in a tube (4) or sack, in which the squeezing/expulsion action is controlled by the user; means (6, 16) act as a mechanical multiplier of the squeezing/expulsion action given by the user, also controlling (19, 20, 42) the direction of the squeezing/expulsion action (E, S) of the product from the tube or from the sack or expulsion of the tube or of the sack of said means; squeezing means (16) are embody in a squeezing mechanism (3, 43) of the tube (4) or sack includes a pair of counter-rotating rollers (16) controlled in rotation by the user through an actuator means; and presents the squeezing means (16) are embody in a squeezing mechanism (3, 43) separated from the grip handle (22), in turn in form of a gun (2, 44), for the distribution of the product; furthermore, the product to be distributed is channelled towards the machine's dispensing nozzle (15, 30) by means of a hose (12) that connects the non-squeezing end (13), of the tube or sack, in opposition to the squeezing end (5), and the nozzle itself, joined to said grip handle.
Abstract:
The presenting invention discloses a floating topping for beverages, comprising cocoa solids and fat, and/or gelatinous compounds such as gelatin, being non-miscible in the beverage's surface, wherein said fat content of said topping is in an amount such that total specific weight of said topping is lower then the total specific weight of said beverage's upper surface layer. The invention also discloses method of producing the same and methods of doing business.
Abstract:
An edible substrate treated with an edible substrate enhancer and printed with an image. Methods for treating edible substrates with an edible substrate enhancer, and for printing an image onto the treated edible substrate are provided.
Abstract:
In an embodiment, a user provides a customized greeting via an input device. The input device is in communication with a controller. In response to the customized greeting, the controller causes a confection to be shaped in accordance with the customized greeting. Once the confection is shaped, the confection is provided to the user. In an embodiment, the confection may be completely packaged before providing the confection to the user.
Abstract:
A method of imparting flavor to an edible substrate by precision depositing a first food grade flavored fluid onto a surface of an edible substrate. A method of providing a flavored image on an edible substrate by ink jet printing a food grade colored fluid, where the food grade colored fluid includes a food grade dye, a food grade glycol, and a surface tension modifier to create an image and spraying a food grade flavored fluid onto the edible substrate. In addition, a method of providing a flavored image on an edible substrate by ink jet printing a food grade colored fluid to create an image and spraying a food grade flavored fluid comprising a food grade flavor and a food grade glycol onto the edible substrate.
