Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method to measure and/or adjust combing resistance of fibers by using a brush, wherein the brush comprises: a brush handle; a brush head connecting to the brush handle and comprising a substrate and bristles which are mounted on the substrate, wherein a certain number of the bristles are movable; an activation means which moves the movable bristles from their original positions to different positions; wherein the brush further comprises at least one of the following: a cover for the brush head which is movable between an open position and a closed position, which internal surface can closely face to the tips of the bristles in its closed position, and which has a gap between the substrate and its side ends in its closed position; an indication to match at least one position of the movable bristles to at least one fiber type and/or at least one treatment type; or the combination thereof. By the use of the above brush device, it becomes easier to measure and/or adjust combing resistance of a variety of fiber types.

Disclosed is oral care implement, comprising: a handle connected to a head at an end and an affixion device at the other end via a hinge; the handle is rotatable relative to the affixion device, when the affixion device affixes the oral care implement to a horizontal surface, the hinge stably supports the head at a predetermined position relative to the surface. Another disclosed oral care implement comprises an affixion device connected to the handle via a bi-stable hinge. Further disclosed is an oral care system, comprising: a first device comprising a handle connected to a head at an end; and a second device comprising an affixion device for affixing the second device to a horizontal surface, a connector detachably connectable to the first device, and a hinge connecting the affixion device to the connector. The head in any of the foregoing configurations comprises at least one oral care element.

본 발명의 양면칫솔은, 머리부에 칫솔모가 형성된 제1,제2 칫솔본체의 후미단을 연결링으로 연결하여서 양 칫솔모가 상호 전면대향과 상호 후면대향이 이루어지게 구성하고, 제1,제2 칫솔본체의 손잡이부의 전후면부에는 상호 대향 면접시 슬립가능한 만곡요철부가 형성되게 구성하고, 제1 칫솔본체의 손잡이는 전면에 만곡요부와 후면에 만곡철부가 형성되고, 제2 칫솔본체의 손잡이는 전면에 만곡철부와 후면에 만곡요부가 형성되어서 제1.제2 칫솔 본체 손잡이의 만곡철부들이 제1,제2 칫솔본체 손잡이의 만곡요부들에 수용되도록 구성하며, 만곡철부들에는 마찰부가 형성되게 구성함으로서, 손목에 힘을 들이지 않고 간편하게 치아의 양면을 동시에 칫솔질가능하며, 혀, 입천장, 잇몸, 궁강내면 세정도 간편하게 할 수 있도록 한 것이다.

The power cleaning head comprises two or more regions, wherein at least one of the regions is configured to move and wherein at least one of the regions comprises a squeegee element. Preferably, the regions are configured to independently rotate, oscillate, vibrate or otherwise move while cleaning teeth and gums and can each include bristles, nodules, squeegee elements, or any combination thereof.

The present invention discloses a toothbrush having a handle and an articulated head coupled to the handle. The articulated head includes two sections and each of the head sections has a bottom surface and a side surface. Each of the head sections includes a plurality of bristles extending from the bottom surface of that head section and at least one of the head sections includes a plurality of elastomeric fingers partially defining the side surface of that head section and partially extending from the bottom surface of that head section. The head section most remote from the handle, in a normal configuration of the articulated head, is angled with respect to the other head section.

The invention relates to a toothbrush (10) with a head section (13), which is at least partly movable under load during tooth-cleaning and is fitted with an interchangeable brush head (14), and a grip section (17). According to the invention, the head section (13) and the stem (15) of the toothbrush take the form of a continuous spring-steel wire with two shanks which, in the region of the stem (15), each have a spring (18) with a plurality of turns which permits movements of the head section (13) in all directions perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the toothbrush (10) and the brush head (14) can be clamped in the head section (13) by pressing free end regions of the shanks (16) together and releasably securing them in the grip section (17).

Earlier devices of the genre had a yoke-like head for brushing the teeth, and a cowling of reentrantly folded flexible material interconnected with the arms of the head so as to straddle the slot between the arms. The midsection at the bight of the cowling had pleats between it and the wings of the cowling, and together they formed an articulated linkage between the wings for preserving the bias on the wings during the tooth brushing operation. In the present device, the arms (12) have only brackets (34) on the terminal end portions thereof, the relatively outboard portions (38) of which elbow out in front of the arms, like cowcatchers, below the terminal ends (20) of the arms. The portions (38) in turn have mitt-like brushes (50) thereon comprised of fields of spaced individual bristle of 0.010 inch in diameter or greater at the bases (64) thereof, collectively firm but individually spaced apart from one another at heights and densities enabling them to laterally deflect within the fields, and made of a thermoplastic resin material which is 47 or less in durometer on the Shore D Scale, so as to be ultra soft to the gums of the teeth. Now, with brackets so equipped, the arms (12) can forcibly pinch the portions (38) of the brackets together to the extent that the brushes (50) maintain a firm but comfortable grip on a row of teeth (3) at the level of the gingival sulcus (51) thereof, notwithstanding the absence of the linkage. Moreover, the arms and brackets can be pivoted crosswise the length of the row, to be oscillated through a pitman arm-like motion more in parallel to the gaps between pairs of teeth.

A hair brush adapted to impart both a straightening effect and a curling effect on a length of hair includes first and second members. The first member includes a first handle and a first brush head having an inner row of centrally disposed primary teeth, an outer row of bristles mounted on each side of the centrally disposed primary teeth, and a thermal conductive element. The thermal conductive element defines an arcuate surface configured for imparting a curl within a lock of hair. The second member includes a second handle, a second brush head having a second head frame defining a longitudinal channel, and an elongate member having a wiper segment disposed on each side of the longitudinal channel, and configured to engage the length of hair to facilitate one of straightening of the length of hair or removing substances from the length of hair.

Изобретение относится к приспособлениям, предназначенным для ухода за волосами и кожей головы, а именно массажным щёткам со сменным картриджем. Массажная щётка содержит корпус с местом для установки картриджа и зубья. Нижней частью корпуса щётки является резиновая подушка с проходящими сквозь неё зубьями, при этом корпус щётки выполнен с полостью, в которой размещён резервуар. Дно резервуара выполнено волнистым, а зубья введены в резервуар сквозь нижнюю часть его волнистого дна. Сменный картридж установлен в верхней части корпуса щётки и оснащён крышкой-клапаном и посадочным элементом со сквозным отверстием, сообщающим картридж с находящимся в полости щётки резервуаром. Место для установки картриджа на корпусе щётки выполнено как его посадочное гнездо, оснащённое клапаном. Техническим результатом изобретения является создание многофункциональной и удобной в использовании массажной щётки с легко и быстро сменяемым картриджем.

The disclosed tweezers utilise opposing bristles 10a and 10b to capture head lice and eggs attached to hair by creating an inter-weaved mesh that allow the hair to pass through and trap lice and eggs within the bristles. To aid with use, the tweezers have corrugated grips 12a and 12b on the external sides of the tweezers arms, with a reinforcing strip (13) to prevent the tweezer arms from flexing while in a closed position. The tweezers should be made of a material suitable for sterilisation. The tweezer arms are joined by interlocking pieces 14a and 14b.
