Abstract:
Abstract:
A removable-denture cleaning device that comprises a main body with a receptacle, in the interior of which the removable denture is housed during the cleaning operation, and said main body comprises an opening for accessing the receptacle and a lid that moves between an open position and a closed position for opening and closing the receptacle. It comprises at least first brushes disposed on at least one of the walls of the interior of the receptacle and a motor that actuates the first brushes. The device is portable and may be transported in the user's hand.
Abstract:
The present invention is concerned with an oral hygiene implement (100) attachable to a handle of an oral hygiene device having a housing (150), a functional element (130) movably mounted at the housing such that it can be driven into a motion, a motion transmitter element(110) coupled with the functional element (130), and an adhesive layer (180) provided at the motion transmitter element for adhesively coupling the motion transmitter element with a drive shaft of the handle when being attached, optionally wherein the adhesive layer is chosen such that the adhesive connection established after attachment is essentially non-destructively separable.
Abstract:
Tooth brushing monitoring system is disclosed that includes a toothbrush (1) with sensors and a base station (2). The sensors record data regarding the quality, quantity and location of brushing and the system can analyze the data to provide feedback on the quality of brushing. This feedback provides motivation for users to increase their brushing habits, leading to a decrease in plaque, tooth decay and gingivitis
Abstract:
An appliance body which includes a fluid delivery system providing a fluid flow to the appliance body and an exit for the fluid. A cavitation assembly is responsive to the fluid flow, and includes a constriction or obstruciton member, wherein the flow rate to and through the cavitaiton assembly and the flow velocity and other factors results in a cavitation number in the range of 0.1 to 6, so that hydrodynamic cavitation is produced at the exit of the appliance for delivery to a treatment surface.
