A self-heating module (1) which when installed in a container, is able to heat or/and keep warm its content. Said module (1) has a metallic outer body (2) closed by a plastic lid (25) comprised of a flexible wall (26) for activation button and, an internal device releasing an exothermic reaction. Said heating device in rest position contains two natural reagents, one in liquid form (R1) placed above the other in solid form (R2) and separated by a breakable seal (11). A perforator (12) connects said flexible wall (26) to said breakable seal (11). The module is easily activated by a manual pressure on said flexible wall (26), which moves said perforator (12) towards said breakable seal (11), and punctures it. By gravity law, the liquid reagent (R1) flows over the solid reagent (R2) generating a reaction which highly increases the module temperature.

A self-heating assembly includes a product container for holding a product to be heated and a heater container coupled to the product container. There is a reaction space between the product container and the heater container. There is a support structure (made, for example, of open cell foam) in the reaction space and a granular second reactant distributed throughout the support structure. There is a liquid first reactant in the reaction space. A frangible membrane is configured so that, when intact, it separates the liquid first reactant from the support structure and from the granular second reactant. The liquid first reactant and the granular second reactant are adapted to exothermically react upon contact with one another. The support structure is permeable to the liquid first reactant and is configured to support and substantially maintain the distribution of the granular second reactant throughout the support structure before and during the exothermic chemical reaction.

본 발명은 일회용 구이기 제조방법 및 그 일회용 구이기에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 상방이 개방된 통 형상의 하우징에 발화체를 내장하고 상부에 망상체를 결합한 후 밀봉 포장하는 일회용 구이기 제조방법 및 그 일회용 구이기에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 일회용 구이기는 바닥부와 측면부에 공기구멍이 형성되고 상부가 개방된 통 형상의 하우징과, 상기 하우징에 내장되고 망상체에 올려진 구이물에 화력을 제공하는 발화체와, 상기 하우징의 상부에 가결합된 상태에서 발화체가 내장된 후 완전 결합되어 하우징과 함께 구조물을 이루는 망상체 및 상기 구조물을 밀봉 포장하는 포장재를 포함하여 구성된다.

Eine transportable Vorrichtung zum Erhitzen von Lebensmitteln weist einen Behälter (1) zum Aufnehmen der Lebensmittel (8) und einen an den Behälter (1) angrenzenden abgeschlossenen Erhitzungsraum (2) auf, der über eine gemeinsame wärmeleitende Wandung (4) mit dem Behälter (1) thermisch gekoppelt und zugleich hermetisch von diesem getrennt ist. Der Erhitzungsraum (2) weist eine erste Kammer (5) und eine zweite Kammer (6) auf, die durch eine wasserdampfdurchlässige Wandung (7) getrennt sind. In der ersten Kammer (5) befindet sich ein Stoff oder eine Stoffmischung (9), die bei Zufuhr einer Flüssigkeit, vorzugsweise von Wasser, in einer exothermen chemischen Reaktion Wärme erzeugt, wobei Wasserdampf gebildet wird. In der zweiten Kammer (6) befindet sich ein Zeolith (10), das das aus der ersten Kammer (5) über die wasserdampfdurchlässige Wandung (7) eintretende Wasser unter Wärmebildung adsorbieren kann. Ein in der Vorrichtung verwendbarer transportabler Heizkörper enthält einen an eine wärmeableitende Außenwandung (4) angrenzenden, hermetisch abgeschlossenen Erhitzungsraum (2).

The subject of the invention is a self-heating device allowing a product (14) stored in a tray (20) to be heated or reheated, said device comprising a compartment (16) containing two reactants able to produce an exothermic reaction, one of the reactants being stored in a supple pouch (18) capable of being perforated by a striker (36) that is located in the compartment (16) and that comprises at least one perforating element (42), characterised in that the striker (36) comprises a body, and at least two U-shape holders (40) that hold the supple pouch (18) above the one or more perforating elements (42) of the striker (36).

A solid state moderated chemical reaction for use with a heating device comprises the complete reaction between iron powder and the oxidizer sodium chlorate in stoichiometric balance such that the oxygen, rather than being emitted externally to the device, is fully reacted internally in the heating device to a solid oxide. A heating device comprises a heating chamber defining an interior space for receiving and storing a substance to be heated, a heater for use as a source of heat which includes a reaction chamber, a solid state reaction composition disposed within the reaction chamber such that it is physically isolated from and in thermal communication with the interior space of the heating chamber, an activation mechanism in communication with the composition disposed within the reaction chamber, and wherein the reaction composition is inert until the activation mechanism is actuated. Activation mechanism comprises an actuator having a user interface portion and an actuation portion, and the actuation portion carries a reaction initiation material that, when assembled with the heater, is capable of initiating a chemical reaction in the chemical composition when the actuation portion is actuated by a user. Heater comprises a housing defining an exterior shape of the heater and an interior space, a solid state chemical heating composition disposed within the interior space, and an activation mechanism in communication with the composition and having an actuator and disposed within the housing such that the activation mechanism is actuable exteriorly from the housing. Heater may be incorporated into the heating device, or alternatively may be modular and removably coupled to heating device. The present invention relates to a heat generating bag which can heat water, a beverage or the like contained in a vessel such as a cup, bottle, baby bottle, bowl or the like in any place at any time. The present invention provides a heat generating bag comprising: a bag body unit having an interior divided into a water containing portion and a heat generating material containing portion by a partition membrane or an inner bag; a connection pipe extended from one side of the bag body unit into a tubular shape communicated to the heat generating material containing portion or the water containing portion; and a connection string having one end attached to the divided area and the other end exposed outwardly through the connection pipe. When the connection string is pulled, the partition membrane or the inner bag is torn such that heat can be generated by the exothermic reaction between the heat generating material and water.
