摘要: A handle assembly includes two arms and a latching lever. An end effector includes two jaws. A firing assembly includes an actuating beam, a proximal body, and two levers. The actuating beam is slidable relative to the handle assembly and the end effector. The proximal body is coupled to the actuating beam and is housed within either the first arm or the second arm. The first lever is configured to move between a first laterally extending position and a first non-obtrusive position. The first lever is configured to drive the actuating beam and the proximal body relative to the handle assembly in the first laterally extending position. The second lever is configured to move between a second laterally extending position and a second non-obtrusive position. The second lever is configured to drive the actuating beam and the proximal body relative to the handle assembly in the second laterally extending position.

摘要: An end effector for a surgical clip applier includes a body having a proximal end and a distal end, a clip cartridge coupled to the body and containing one or more surgical clips, and a head rotatably coupled to the distal end. First and second jaw members are mounted to the head such that rotation of the head correspondingly moves the first and second jaw members. The head is rotatable between a loading position, where the first and second jaw members are aligned to receive a distal-most surgical clip of the one or more surgical clips, and a clamping position, where the first and second jaw members are positioned to crimp a surgical clip interposing the first and second jaw members.

摘要: An end effector for impacting a prosthesis at a surgical site along a trajectory maintained by a surgical robot. The end effector comprises an impactor assembly and a guide. The impactor assembly has a head to receive impact force, an interface to releasably attach to the prosthesis, a shaft extending along an impactor axis between the head and the interface, and an impactor engagement surface disposed between the head and the interface. The guide is adapted to attach to the surgical robot and comprises a channel extending along a guide axis and defining an opening arranged to receive a portion of the shaft of the impactor assembly, a guide engagement surface shaped to abut the impactor engagement surface, and a limiter to maintain abutment of the impactor engagement surface with the guide engagement surface to facilitate coaxial alignment of the axes with the trajectory maintained by the surgical robot.

摘要: A surgical hub is for use with a surgical instrument configured to deliver therapeutic energy to tissue at a surgical site of a surgical procedure. The surgical hub comprises: a hub enclosure, comprising a docking station including a docking port comprising data and power contacts; and a combo generator module removably retainable in the docking station. The combo generator module comprises: an ultrasonic energy generator component; a radio frequency (RF) energy generator component; a smoke evacuation component; and a connection port. At least one of the ultrasonic energy generator component and the radio frequency (RF) generator component are couplable to the surgical instrument through the connection port. The combo generator module further comprises at least one smoke evacuation component, configured to evacuate smoke generated by an application of therapeutic energy to the tissue by the surgical instrument.

摘要: Surgical hubs are disclosed. A surgical hub is configured to communicably couple to a plurality of modular devices. The surgical hub comprises a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory stores instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the surgical hub to: receive perioperative data from a modular device; determine an event type associated with the perioperative data received from the modular device; aggregate, for each event type, the perioperative data from a plurality of modular devices; compare, for each event type, the aggregated perioperative data from the plurality of modular devices with baseline perioperative data; and provide feedback according to whether the aggregated data for a subject event type deviates from the baseline perioperative data for the subject event type. The perioperative data comprises data detected by the plurality of modular devices during the course of a surgical procedure.

摘要: Robotic surgical tools can incorporate a latching mechanism as a secondary fastener to maintain operable coupling between the robotic surgical tool and a mounting fixture of a robotic manipulator. Such robotic surgical tools may comprise: a tool housing, an elongate shaft extending from the tool housing, and a latching mechanism arranged on the elongate shaft. The latching mechanism comprises one or more retention tabs that are biased radially outward with one or more biasing members. The one or more retention tabs are configured to transition between a retracted state and a deployed state under influence of a biasing force supplied by the one or more biasing members. In the deployed state, the one or more retention tabs are positioned to engage an exterior surface of a mounting fixture of a robotic manipulator. In the retracted state, the one or more retention tabs are positioned to disengage from the mounting fixture.

The support device (3) comprises: a central body (301) comprising at least one magnetic or magnetisable element (302), adapted to allow the movement of said support device (3) by means of a corresponding body (5), placed outside the tissue wall (2); at least three threadlike elements (303) fixed to the central body (301) and arranged around it, each being made of a flexible material devoid of magnetic properties and which retains a shape memory; wherein each threadlike element (303) has a diameter such that it can be inserted through the meshings (405) of the surgical mesh (4), and has a length such that it may enter in the respective first meshing (403) of the surgical mesh (4) from a second surface (402) to a first surface, and exit from a respective second meshing (404) of the surgical mesh (4) from the first surface (401) to the second surface (402). The support device (3) has a closed configuration for extraction, and an open configuration, in which the threadlike elements (303) are spaced apart. The support device (3) comprises a stopper element (307) for each threadlike element (303), adapted to abut said first meshing (403) and stopping a sliding of the threadlike element (303) through the meshings, keeping the surgical mesh extended in the open configuration.

摘要: A reposable surgical clip applier includes a handle assembly, a shaft assembly engagable with the handle assembly, and a clip cartridge assembly including surgical clips engagable within the shaft assembly. The handle assembly includes a trigger, a drive bar coupled to the trigger and including a rack, a pawl configured to engage the rack upon movement of the drive bar, and a release mechanism operable to move the pawl to disengage the pawl from the rack. The shaft assembly includes an outer tube having a pair of jaws supported at a distal end portion thereof and a drive assembly slidably disposed therein. When the shaft assembly is engaged with the handle assembly and the clip cartridge assembly is engaged within the shaft assembly, actuation of the trigger loads a clip into the jaws and cams the jaws towards one another to form the clip about tissue.
