The present invention relates to a composition for treating infected aquatic animal from protozoan parasites wherein the composition comprising an active ingredient with an effective amount of Cymbopogon citratus extract. Specifically, the composition having antiprotozoal ability against protozoan, parasites including Hexamita sp. and Trichodina sp . The present invention also disclosed the method for producing the said composition. This composition is applicable for freshwater or marine aquatic animal whereby the composition can be used directly via immersion technique or swap technique or incorporated with the feed also known as the oral technique.

본 발명은 노근(Phragmitis Rhizoma) 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 항암제 부작용에 의한 질환의 예방, 개선 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 노근 추출물을 마우스의 골수 세포에 처리한 결과, 항암제에 의해 유발된 조혈모세포 집락군의 감소를 현저하게 회복시키고, 항암제를 복강 주사하여 골수억제를 유도한 동물 모델에서 항암제에 의한 골수억제가 현저하게 회복되는 효과가 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 본원 발명의 노근 추출물은 항암제 부작용에 의한 질환의 예방, 개선 및 치료용 조성물로 유용하게 이용될 수 있으며, 항암 보조제로 항암제와 병용처방하여 항암제의 효과를 상승시킬 가능성이 있는 것이다.
