摘要: A remote control may be configured to guide a user's physical movements by transmitting movement signals that are to be translated into haptic instructions, and cooperative actuators may be configured to be worn by the user to translate the movement signals received from the remote control into the haptic instructions. The movement signals may be translated into the haptic instructions for physical movements of any limb or extremity of the user in either of a vertical direction or a horizontal direction; after the first movement signal, the movement signals may be transmitted prior to completion of an immediately previous physical movement; and the movement signals may include horizontal and vertical directional signal components that indicate the horizontal and vertical direction for the user's next physical movement. The haptic instructions that are translated from the horizontal and vertical directional signal components may differ in either duration or magnitude.

摘要: Sporting balls with enhanced visual acuity, casings for sporting balls with enhanced visual acuity, and methods for enhancing visual acuity of a soccer ball are described. In embodiments, the sporting ball has an exterior with a substantially spherical surface including a first pole opposing a second pole and an equator circumferentially intermediate the first pole and the second pole. Additionally, in embodiments a first exterior region of a first color may include a first hub section oriented at the first pole generally opposite a second hub section oriented at the second pole on the substantially spherical surface. The first hub section may have one or more first hub spokes extending spherically outwardly therefrom toward the equator, and the second hub section may have one or more second hub spokes extending spherically outwardly therefrom toward the equator. Further, in embodiments, the sporting ball may have a second exterior region of a second color.

摘要: An apparatus used in the medical industry, in order to increase transpulmonary pressure and respiratory volumes, to improve inspiratory muscle performance and re-establish the normal pulmonary hyperinflation, through the employment of electronic technology, providing audible, simulated, verbal, human sounding words, that assist, guide and prompt, increasing patient usage. In the past, lack of usage of this simple plastic, antiquated, disposable unit, by the patient, has contributed to severe problems, such as pneumonia. Without prompting, the patient finds it hard to inhale into a tube repetitively, to improve their lungs. Previous applications of prior equipment has been poor, thus adding intelligence in the form of electronic technology, which prompts without assistance, is a tremendous advantage in helping not only the sighted, but also the blind as well, since normally only written information accompanies the incentive spirometer, thus, changing the use of this medical device as we know it today.

摘要: A system for guiding a swimmer that includes a destination device configured to be arranged near a destination location which a swimmer will swim towards. The system further includes directional determination equipment configured to determine a direction the swimmer should swim towards based, at least in part, on the swimmer's current position in reference to the destination device. The system further includes directional guidance equipment configured to indicate to the swimmer the determined direction the swimmer should swim towards, wherein the directional guidance equipment includes a first guidance device configured to be worn by the swimmer while swimming and having first vibration hardware for vibrating the first guidance device, and wherein the directional guidance equipment dynamically indicates for the swimmer to swim in the direction via at least the first vibration means.

摘要: An exercise mat is provided with a tactile feedback that enables a user to determine body placement using the sense of touch. The mat enables visually impaired users to determine location and/or direction on the mat, as well as, correct foot and hand placements during a yoga posture sequence, an exercise program, a dance routine, and so forth. Tactile markers are provided for hand and foot placement and enable discernment as either intended for hand or foot, right side or left side, and forward or backward.
