摘要: A treadmill which utilizes provides for a connection between the floor stand and the treadbase which is toward the front end of the treadbase and provides for generally improved support of the front end of the treadbase at higher angles by providing that the lift mechanism is attached to the treadbase at two fixed points a fixed distance from each other. The lift mechanism then utilizes two different motions, the extension of an extension arm and the rotation of a rigid arm, to produce lift. The rotation of the rigid arm generally utilizes a wheel in an enclosed raceway attached to the floor stand.

摘要: The present invention relates to motor safety devices as used in increasing numbers for the killing (stopping) of engines and motors or disengaging propulsion units from engines and motors, when there are no operators to maintain control of an apparatus or vehicle such as jet-ski, boat, go-kart and the like or personnel to oversee use of a motorised tool or the like. In particular the present invention relates to the control and use of such systems. Motor boat operators on a boat have been known to fall overboard without being detected by the operator of the boat. In such cases, the person Is often lost or is drowned before being found. In addition, sole operators of boats have fallen overboard resulting in the boat continuing its operation without an operator. Such runaway boats have been known to seriously injure the operator of the boat in the water since a runaway boat tends to circle back to the place where the operator has fallen overboard. Such injuries are normally caused by the propeller of the boat cutting the operator in the water, or by the boat itself ramming the operator In the water. The present invention is also applicable to other types of equipment such as motorised gymnasium equipment, hand operated power tools, such as agricultural and arboriculturist equipment and wood working tools. The present Invention seeks to provide a solution to such problems

摘要: The invention concerns an omnidirectional treadmill (1) comprising a stationary central platform (2) surrounded by a deck (3), which is in level with the central platform (1) and comprises a conveyor arrangement (4). The conveyor arrangement (4) comprises a plurality of rotatable rollers (6), which can be driven in order to move a user stepping thereon back to the central platform (2). The rotatable rollers (6) are made of flexible shafts, which have a jacket and are laid out in concentric circles around the central platform (2), and are journaled in pillow block bases and kept in place on these by means of pillow block cap portions, the tops of which being located on a level below the deck level, such that they do not interfere with a user being moved by the rotatable rollers.

摘要: An apparatus (1) for automated walking oder treadmill training of a user comprises a frame or treadmill (10) having a driven treadmill belt (12), a pelvis attachment (50) to support the position and/or weight of the user and having attachment elements (52) adapted to be connected to the user. The pelvis attachment (50) comprises a displacement unit for allowing a movement of the pelvis of the user held by the attachment elements (52) transverse to and/or rotating about a perpendicular axis to the walking direction (500) provided by the treadmill (10) to provide a more natural and physiological gait during training. A weight suspension unit (40) having a cable (43) guided over a guide roller (45) positioned above the pelvis attachment (50) opposite to the treadmill (10) and attached to the pelvis attachment (50) can comprise a weight suspension displacement unit (48) adapted to move the guide roller essentially perpendicular to the diverted section of the cable (43) to influence the transverse position of the upper body of the person to be trained as well as to prevent a pendulum effect of the trunk of the user.

摘要: A motor-less leg-powered curved treadmill produced that allows people to walk, jog, run, and sprint without making any adjustments to the treadmill other than shifting the user's center of gravity forward and backwards. A closed loop treadmill belt running between front and rear pulley rollers is formed with a low friction running surface of transverse wooden, plastic or rubber slats attached to each other in a resilient fashion. Since an essential feature of treadmill is the concave shape of the running surface of belt in its respective upper portion, to insure that this shape is maintained during actual use. The prevents the lower portion of the treadmill belt from drooping down (i.e.- it must be held taut), to prevent the concave top portion to be pulled taut into a flat shape between the front and rear pulley rollers.
