Abstract:
The present invention provides a means for randomizing and controlling objects in a zero gravity environment. The invention also replicates and enhances traditional casino gaming experiences in zero gravity, microgravity, low gravity and variable gravity environments. This includes adapted seating for players and staff, enabling wagering, and ensuring security and integrity of the games. Both traditional casino games, such as craps, roulette and blackjack, and new games of chance are provided and modified so as to take advantage of unique properties of zero, low or variable gravity environments. Games may be either attended or unattended, and wagering may be either on-site or off-site via remote communications. Virtual games may also be played in simulated zero gravity, low gravity and variable gravity.
Abstract:
A monitoring system, in which a multiplicity of play machines are parallelly provided, in a play hall, characterized by comprising: a monitoring video camera having a zoom lens and provided in a position for monitoring a plurality of play machines; a set monitoring condition memory for storing set monitoring conditions of the monitoring video camera for taking a close-up of each play machine through the zoom lens; a driving means for setting the monitoring video camera to the set monitoring conditions; an abnormality sensing means for monitoring the play conditions; a judging and processing section for analyzing information from the abnormality sensing means and for controlling the driving means to set the monitoring video camera to the set monitoring condition of the machine when abnormality is determined; and a display means for displaying image information of the monitoring video camera on the screen.
Abstract:
A device provided with a counting circuit (2) which counts the number of shot balls and is connected to a shot ball detecting unit (8) to detect shot balls, another counting circuit (3) which counts the number of hit balls and is connected to a hit ball detecting unit (9) to detect hit balls out of shot ones, and a comparator circuit (4) which compares the number of balls counted by said two counting circuits (2, 3) and outputs warning signals of abnormal release of premium balls when the number of hit balls exceeds that of shot balls, whereby any abnormality of the number of hit balls exceeding the actual one caused by misoperation of the hit ball detecting unit is detected and an effect of preventing excessive release of premium balls is exhibited.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods and systems for applying additional randomness in relation with a roulette game. According to one embodiment, a set of balls comprising a plurality of balls is described, with balls in the set presenting different physical characteristics influencing their outcome generation and increasing the predictability of the outcome resulting from the use of the ball. According to another embodiment, a method comprising to randomly select one ball in a set as above described and using the selected ball to generate an outcome in the roulette game is described. In another embodiment, an automated roulette system comprising a ball container containing a ball set as above described with a mechanism randomly selecting a ball in the set for the next outcome generation process and feeding a ball propelling mechanism is described.
Abstract:
A play medium dispenser comprises a pinball passage (10) adapted to permit a play medium (pinballs) (90) to run therethrough, a gear (20) formed at an outer periphery thereof with a plurality of recesses (21) for engagement with pinballs (90) and adapted to rotate while having the recesses (21) successively engaged with the pinballs (90) which run through the pinball passage (10), detecting means (70) for detecting the pinballs (90) discharged from an outlet (11), a first stopper (30) movable between a first engaging where it can engage with the gear (20) and a first standby position where it does not engage with the gear (20), a second stopper (40) movable between a second engaging position where it can engage with the gear (20) and a second standby position where it does not engage with the gear (20), first drive means for moving the first stopper (30), and second drive means for moving the second stopper (40), and control means for controlling the first drive means and the second drive means and alternately allowing the first stopper (30) and the second stopper (40) to engage with the gear (20).
Abstract:
A casino dolly (12) for use in a roulette game includes sensors (17a), preferably using passive infrared detection, to detect the presence of a hand or movement of chips in an area arond the dolly. When the dolly is placed on the area of a winning number on a roulette board it will act to set off an alarm (18) if the sensors detect an attempt to place late bets in the area around the dolly.
Abstract:
A security system for use at a gambling table comprises monitoring means for monitoring the gambling table, means for determining the end of each game played at the gambling table, means for detecting movement with a predefined area of the gambling table and indicator means for indicating when movement occurs at or immediately after the end of each game.
