Abstract:
The present invention is an electronic educational toy comprising a base platform (1) with at least two, preferably three, pockets (2) and respective cubes (30). The cube (30) configured to be inserted into the pocket (2) of the base platform (1). The cube (30) 5 further comprises NFC tags (31) attached to each face of the cube (30), wherein each NFC tag (31) of the cube (30) is configured to be read by NFC antenna (11) of the base platform (1) when the cube (30) is inserted in the corresponding pocket (2) of the base platform (1), in result of which the audio file corresponding to each NFC tag (31) is played through the speaker (12).
Abstract:
A portal device for a video game includes a pad with different zones that can be illuminated by selectable colors, a toy sensor (e.g., an RFID tag sensor) associated with each zone, a controller and a communications port for communicating with a video game process executing on a game machine. The colors of each zone can be configured to one or a combination of three primary colors during game play, based on the game process. The portal device reacts to placement of tagged toys on zones and the color of the zones during play, and provides sensor data to the game process. The game process controls the game state in part based on data from the portal device and in part on other user input.
Abstract:
A gaming table system for error reduction and efficiency are disclosed. The gaming table system include a gaming table can have sensors for determining the values of the dealt cards. Additional table sensor can use used to determine the players bet and prospective payout. Intelligent markers can be integrated with the system, where the markers preferably include a mechanism for signaling the receiving bettor to acknowledge receipt of the marker, which acknowledgement may turn off the indicating mechanism. The method of indication could be visual, audible or otherwise which would signal a bettor to interact with the marker. The intelligent markers communicate with table sensors and a shoe to monitor the status of games, and to signal alerts when a mistake occurs.
Abstract:
A gaming table comprises a table top having a top and a bottom surface adapted to receive an exchangeable insert. For instance, the top surface is configured to receive gaming accessories and defines an exchangeable insert bed. A base is connected to and configured to support the table top. A table top exchangeable insert is configured to be located within the exchangeable insert bed, wherein the insert includes a securing structure, for releasably securing the table top exchangeable insert to the table top to provide the ability to conveniently change the insert as desired.
Abstract:
Various contact systems and methods for manufacturing and using such are disclosed herein. Examples of the contact systems include a surface with one set of pads biased at a first voltage level, and another set of pads biased at a second voltage level, which can be used, for example, to transfer power to an electromechanical device disposed thereon. In one particular example, the electromechanical device can include a power storage element and two or more couplings. When one of the couplings contacts a pad biased at the first voltage level, and another of the couplings contacts a pad biased at the second voltage level, a circuit is completed where some derivative of the differential between the first voltage level and the second voltage level is placed across the power storage element. Completion of the circuit causes the power storage element to charge. Power can be drawn from the power storage element to operate the electromechanical device.
Abstract:
An electronic game apparatus is provided, comprising an array of indicators, including at least two different types of indicator; at least two sets of player operable switches, each set of switches including sensors corresponding to each type of indicator; and, a microprocessor, the microprocessor connected to each of the indicators and each of the switches and operable to control the activation of each indicator, and to change game state in response to the operation of a switch in dependence on the correspondence between the operated switch and an activated indicator. The game apparatus of the invention can be operated in a number of modes for one, two or multiple players.
Abstract:

Specifically, the multimedia subsystem comprises a multimedia processor which is configured for recording visual media data from a plurality of image sensors and detecting gameplay events utilising a plurality of hardware and/or software gameplay sensors. As such, in this way, when detecting various gameplay events, the multimedia processor is configured for displaying game replay multimedia utilising a plurality of visual media display devices. The multimedia processor is further configured for performing other autonomous actions when detecting various gameplay events.
Abstract:
A system and method to receive side wagers such as progressive wager. A plurality of sensors is located on or near the dealer's chip tray at a casino table, there is one such sensor for each player that the table can accommodate. Before a new game is dealt at the table, players place their main wagers and their side wagers. The dealer will then move all of the side wagers to their respective sensors of the plurality of sensors. The dealer will then deal the game from start to finish, and will use the side wagers placed on the plurality of sensors to determine which players have made the side wager. Only players who have made the side wager are eligible for a side wager payout.
Abstract:
We describe a roulette wheel system comprising: a bowl; a roulette wheelhead mounted for rotation within said bowl, said bowl having a balltrack around said wheelhead; an accelerometer on said roulette wheelhead to provide an accelerometer signal; and a signal processor coupled to said accelerometer and to memory storing code to determine a tilt of said roulette wheelhead, wherein said code is configured to identify an oscillating component of gravitational acceleration seen by said accelerometer as the wheelhead rotates, when the wheelhead is rotating about an axis of rotation tilted off a vertical axis, to determine one or both of a degree of tilt and a direction of tilt of said roulette wheelhead or of said balltrack.
