Abstract: 遊技機用基板ケースの検査方法において、所定電子部品４７が実装された制御基板３８を収納する基板ケース３９を検査するに際し、基板ケース３９が封止手段４９，５０にて封止されているか否かを確認する封止確認工程１５と、封止確認工程１５の後で基板ケース３９内の電子部品４７の固有識別情報４８を読み取る固有情報読み取り工程１８とを経て行う。これにより、基板ケース内の制御基板の電子部品に付された固有識別情報の読み取り、基板ケースの封止状態の確認を確実にでき、検査工程で電子部品を交換して不正な固有識別情報を読み取らせる等の不正行為を防止できる。
