The invention relates to a cooking vessel (50) comprising a base (56) designed for use on a support plate (2) of a cooking hob (1) including actuation means for actuating rotary blades (32) located inside the vessel (51), said actuation means including lower (5) and upper (54) magnetic coupling members. The upper member is connected to the blades (53) and is disposed close to the upper surface of the support plate (2) when the vessel (50) is positioned thereon. The vessel includes a bearing element (55) below the above-mentioned base (56) of the container (51), intended to rest on the support plate (2). According to the invention, the friction coefficient of the bearing element (55) in relation to the support plate (2) is sufficiently low to allow the sliding and self-centring of the cooking vessel (50) under the force of the lower magnetic coupling member (5).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Magnetrührwerk (1) mit einem Spalttopf (3) und einem Rührkopf (2), bei welcher der Spalttopf (3) einen Antriebsabschnitt (5) aufweist, in dem eine drehbare Magnetanordnung (6) angeordnet ist, die magnetisch mit einer Magnetanordnung (6A) gekoppelt ist, die in einem den Antriebsabschnitt umgebenden Antriebsring (9) des Rührkopfes (2) angeordnet ist, und einen als Lagerzapfen (12) ausgebildeten Lagerabschnitt, der mit einer am Rührkopf (2) angeordneten Lagerhülse (11) eine Gleitagerpaarung bildet, wobei der Lagerzapfen (11) mit einer rohrförmigen ersten Lagerschicht (15) beschichtet ist, die gegenüber einem Lagerzapfenwerkstoff eine erhöhte Härte aufweist und stoffschlüssig mit dem Lagerzapfen (11) verbunden ist.

The invention relates to a magnetic agitator mixing system comprising: a first magnetic coupling part (6), a first driving means (8) provided with a second magnetic coupling part (10), and a container (14) which is substantially enclosing the first magnetic coupling part (6). The first magnetic coupling part (6) is rotatably suspended in a stand (20), which is arranged to rest on an inner surface (22) of the container (14) and a first impeller (4) is arranged to be driven by the first magnetic coupling part (6). The invention also relates to an agitator mixing stand (20).

An impeller system for a mixer is used with a vessel for holding a material to be mixed. A stationary shaft extends into the vessel. A rotor having impellers extending therefrom is supported on a ceramic roller bearing assembly that supports the rotor for rotation about the shaft. The bearing assembly has a ceramic inner race, a ceramic outer race and ceramic rolling elements. A drive system is external to the vessel to magnetically driver the rotor.

The invention provides a method for producing prion protein having an aggregated conformation by contacting native conformation prion protein with aggregated conformation prion protein in a liquid preparation and subjecting this to at least one cycle or to a number of cycles of application of shear-force for fragmenting aggregates of prion protein, wherein the shear-force applied is precisely controlled. In addition to this process for amplification of aggregated state prion protein from native conformation prion protein, the invention relates to the aggregated state prion protein obtained by the amplification process, which aggregated state prion protein has one conformation, which is e.g. identical within one batch and reproducible between batches, e.g. as detectable by proteinase resistance in a Western blot.

The present invention relates to the use of a catalyst preparation system for the preparation of a diluted catalyst slurry. In particular, the invention relates to a catalyst preparation system comprising a mixing vessel for mixing a particulate catalyst and a liquid hydrocarbon diluent. According to the invention, diluted catalyst slurry is prepared in a mixing vessel comprising a rotatable axial impeller system comprising at least two double-bladed hubs. The invention also relates to a process for preparing diluted catalyst slurry for use in the preparation of a particulate polyethylene product in a loop reactor with the catalyst preparation system as described herein.
