Abstract:
Blender and food processing devices are described that dampen impact forces between a blending blade and a blending jar. An example blender includes a blender base and a blending jar that has a seal opening. A blending blade assembly in the jar includes a blending blade, a jar shaft attached to the blending blade and extending through the seal opening, a circular motion guide positioned around the jar shaft, and a jar seal positioned between the circular motion guide and the seal opening. The jar seal prevents contact between the circular motion guide and the seal opening and dampens forces induced by relative motion between the seal opening and the blending blade, jar shaft, and/or circular motion guide. A motor in the blender base drives the jar shaft to rotate the blending blade in the blending jar. The dampening may reduce wear or damage to the jar and may improve quality of the blending jar and blade assembly.
Abstract:
Apparatus for cooking foods that comprises an external container (12), an internal container (11), open at the top, a heating device (13) and a rotating mixing device (21). The mixing device is selectively removable and comprises at least one mixing blade (24) driven by the rotation motion.
Abstract:
A mixer system including a bowl for receiving a material to be mixed, a mixer body having a rotatable output component, and a hinge. The bowl is pivotable about the hinge relative to the mixer body such the bowl can be pivoted between a loading/unloading position and a closed position relative the mixer body. The mixer system further includes a locking mechanism located at least partially on one of the bowl or the mixer body, the locking mechanism being normally biased into a locking position. At least a portion the bowl or the mixer body interacts with the locking mechanism to move the locking mechanism toward the release position to allow the bowl to move to the closed position, the locking mechanism being movable back toward the locking position when the bowl is in the closed position to retain the bowl in the closed position.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention concerns a mixing assembly (1) comprising a mixing chamber (2) adapted to mix a soluble ingredient with a diluent, wherein the mixing assembly comprises an overflow channel (41), said overflow channel running along the external wall of the mixing chamber so that a liquid exceeding the capacity of the mixing chamber is able to flow in the overflow channel and the outlets (3) of the mixing chamber and the overflow channel allowing the liquid contained in the mixing chamber and the overflow channel to exit and mix in the same place. The invention also concerns a process for mixing a soluble ingredient with a diluent using the above mixing assembly.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an associated device for intermittently enriching and dispensing drinking water with gases, particularly CO2 and/or O2, wherein the water is supplied to a mixing device (5) by means of a miniature pump (3), particularly an electromagnetic oscillating piston pump with a low supply volume, and the greater throughput volume required for the tap process is realized by the gas flowing into the mixing device (5).
Abstract:
A food processing machine includes a head extending over a bowl receiving location, the head including an output shaft driven in a planetary manner. At least a first food processing tool and a second food processing tool can be changed in and out of the machine to be driven by the output shaft. A controller and associated tool detection system is configured to identify whether the first food processing tool or the second food processing tool is mounted on the machine and to select a stored load profile that is linked to the identified food processing tool.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a stirring member (9) for using in a system for preparing a food product, the product being prepared by the stirring member (9) moving inside a container (8), the srirring member (9) being configured in such a way that it can adopt different configurations depending on its direction of rotation inside the container (8). Preferably, the stirring member (9) can adopt a spoon configuration or a whisk configuration. The invention further relates to a method for using such a stirring member (9) in a system for preparing a food product, the method varying the direction of rotation of the stirring member (9) so that it adopts a different configuration depending on the type of product prepared in the container (8).
