An injection molding method to form a pet chew article, comprising providing an injection mold including at least one molding cavity; providing a first polymer composition having a first color; providing a second polymer composition having a second color; plasticizing the first polymer composition in a first plasticizing injection unit; plasticizing the second polymer composition in a second plasticizing injection unit; injecting the first polymer composition and the second polymer composition into the at least one molding cavity such that the first polymer composition and the second polymer composition mix and form a heterogeneous mixture; and forming the pet chew article from the heterogeneous mixture of the first polymer composition and the second polymer composition such that an outer surface of the pet chew article is variegated, wherein the variegated outer surface is formed of a plurality of regions with each region having a different color.
Abstract:
Novel polylactic acid biopolymer systems and methods of producing products with polylactic acid biopolymers are disclosed. Products produced according to the systems and methods disclosed herein have enhanced deflection temperature and improved mechanical performance when compared to conventional injection moulding processes. Systems and methods for compounding polylactic acid biopolymer and creating an object using a polylactic acid biopolymer by extrusion and injection moulding process are described.

The present invention is directed to a gaming chip with a machine-readable symbol encoding a unique identifier for use in a casino environment and methods for producing the same. The present invention prints symbols and human-readable symbols onto a substrate where at least the symbol is machine-readable. The portions of the substrate having the printed symbols, human-readable symbols, or both can be formed into three-dimensional chip members such that the printed surfaces remain on the interior region of the chip member and readable from a region exterior to the gaming chip by a scanner or optical device. The chip members can be integrally formed into a gaming chip through the injection of filler material between the chip members. The injection molding process structurally and integrally bonds the respective chip members together.

본 발명은 항균기능을 갖는 폴리우레탄폼의 제조방법 및 그 제조방법으로 구성된 폴리우레탄 폼에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 폴리올과 항균제를 배합하여 만들어지는 폴리우레탄폼의 제조방법에 있어서, 배합기에 상기 폴리올과 폴리올 중량대비 분말형태의 항균제 0.8%를 넣어 배합물을 형성하되, 상기 배합기에 배합물 중량대비 발포반응 억제제 0.05%를 첨가하여 2시간 동안 배합 하는 1차배합물형성단계와, 상기 1차배합물형성단계 후 금형의 온도를 50°C ~ 60°C로 설정하고 발포기의 압력, RPM, 온도를 세팅한 후, 상기 배합기에 배합된 배합물을 원료탱크로 이동시키고, 상기 원료탱크의 배합물에 중량대비 발포반응촉매제 0.05%를 첨가하여 3시간동안 배합하는 2차배합물형성단계와, 상기 2차배합물형성단계 후 상기 금형에 배합물을 발포하여 폴리우레탄폼을 형성한 다음 꺼내어 건조기에 넣어 6시간 동안 건조하는 건조단계로 이루어짐으로써, 인체에 무해한 항균제이며 광범위한 세균, 곰팡이 및 바이러스에 반영구적인 항균효과를 가질 뿐만 아니라, 탈취작용 및 내열성이 매우 우수한 발명인 것이다.

A bowling pin that upon intense impact from a bowl, would not rupture, excelling in durability, and that exhibits repulsive force; and a process for producing the same. The bowling pin has core material (3) made of a synthetic resin and, covering the external surface of the core material, skin part (15). The core material has superior hollow portion (5a) and inferior hollow portion (5b). The superior hollow portion is provided with superior cap (9) and the inferior hollow portion with inferior cap (13). Further, the pin is provided with reinforcing core (3a) and/or elastic band (4a). The bowling pin is produced by fixing a core material with a superior cap mounted thereon in a mold and injecting a molten resin around the core material to thereby form a skin part.When the reinforcing core is provided, a reinforcing core is set in a mold for core material forming and a molten resin is injected around the reinforcing core to thereby obtain a core material with insert. The obtained one is used as the core material. When the elastic band is provided, circumferential grooves are made around the core material, and the circumferential grooves are filled with a synthetic resin to thereby form the elastic band.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Kunststoff-Platte mit schichtförmigem Aufbau, bei welchem man ein Acrylharz im Kammerverfahren zwischen zwei äusseren Kunststoff-Platten polymerisiert, wobei man das Dickenverhältnis der beiden äusseren Kunststoff-Platten im Bereich von grösser oder gleich 2:3 bis kleiner oder gleich 3:2 wählt und durch die Polymerisation eine Acrylglas-Zwischenschicht mit einer Dicke von mindestens 2 mm erzeugt.
