Abstract:
The present invention generally relates to passenger aircraft seats. The disclosure focuses on a seat unit arrangement for a cabin and seat units that provide different comfort positions. In some embodiments, a side cushion forms part of a bed surface when the seats are converted to a bed position. In some embodiments, a bed extension is deployed from a stowed position to form a part of the bed surface. In some embodiments, a seat backrest does not form part of the bed surface when the seat unit is in the bed position. In some embodiments, a lounge position is provided when the seat backrest rotates toward a side cushion. In such an embodiment, the passenger may be positioned toward the side cushion such that the passenger may comfortably rest their legs on the side cushion without converting the seat to a bed position.
Abstract:
Seat in a motor vehicle, mainly an open car, seat cover Seat back (2) having on its surface a side flange (10) at least one repeatedly usable inflatable element (4) from a pliable material. The inflatable element runs along the side flange (10) and it is placed and oriented in such a way that in the inflated state it is spread to a gap between the seat (1) of a driver and a seat (1) of a passenger and/or a gap between the seat (1) and a side upholstery of the interior of the car. The inflatable element (4) in the inflated state touches the opposite surfaces by at least a part of its surface, by which it fills in the gap at the level of the seat backs. This achieves a tight sealing which prevents the flow of the cold air from behind while the roof of the car is open. The device for the inflation and deflation of the inflatable element has a source (7) of the air, a reverse valve (8), a pressure sensor and a release valve (9). The control of the system can be connected with a control of a heating, of a launching of airbags, and of an opening of a door. The seat (1) can have multiple inflatable elements (4), preferably at least one on each side of the seat back (2).
Abstract:
A partition for use in vehicles having interior cabin space including at least one row of seats includes a deformable frame and at least one attachment device. The deformable frame is covered at least partially with a fabric material. The at least one attachment device attaches the deformable frame to a portion of a vehicle. Upon installation in a vehicle, the deformable frame separates a first passenger seat of the vehicle from a second passenger seat in the same row.
