Abstract:
A partition for use in vehicles having interior cabin space including at least one row of seats includes a deformable frame and at least one attachment device. The deformable frame is covered at least partially with a fabric material. The at least one attachment device attaches the deformable frame to a portion of a vehicle. Upon installation in a vehicle, the deformable frame separates a first passenger seat of the vehicle from a second passenger seat in the same row.
Abstract:
A load indicating member (10) is provided with a permanent identifying mark which can be read and used to determine ultrasonic (16) measurement parameters specific to the load indicating member to provide more precise and more reliable load measurements by compensating for differences resulting from manufacturing variations in individual load indicating member. The parameters specific to the load indicating member can be stored in coding (12) applied to the load indicating member or in a database that can be accessed remotely.
Abstract:
An additional pillow (1) in a head restraint (2) of a car seat (3) is made of a hard flat core (4), on one side of which coupling elements (6) are provided, of which coupling elements (6) at least one is intended for receiving and holding a support profile (5) of the head restraint (2), further the flat core (4) is coated with padding (7) on a side (8) intended for a sitting person's head, wherein such size and thickness of the padding are foreseen that, when abutting on the head restraint (2) and a seatback (14), it fills the gap behind the neck of the sitting person when he rests with his back on the seatback (14) and leans his head on the head restraint (2) in all anticipated distances of the head restraint (2) from the seatback (14).
Abstract:
Embodiments of a portable multi-use folding working platform for use with portable electronic devices and/or for increasing comfort of a user while traveling are herein provided. In one embodiment, the portable multi-use folding working platform includes two rigid components hingedly connected and adapted to close into a folded state or to open into an expanded state. The platform may include at least one extractable accessory holder or tray having at least one opening for receiving and holding one or more objects such as a pen, a cup or the like. The device may include a compressible padding on an interior surface. The platform may include one or more openings for ventilation purposes or for receiving an adjustable strap.
Abstract:
A vehicle passenger is provided with a console (1) for mounting an entertainment apparatus, the console being coupled to the back of a more forwardly located seat by headrest retaining clips (7) of the kind adapted to hold posts of a height adjustable headrest (6) for the seat at a height selected position. In one arrangement, the console is sandwiched between the headrest retaining clips and the top of the seat back. In an alternative arrangement, the console incorporates integral headrest retaining clips that replace the conventional headrest retaining clips.
Abstract:
Method for providing power to a passenger seat (10), whereby the passenger seats are individually fitted with removable fuel cells. The seat fitted with a fuel cell can then use fuel cell power, as well as the by-products generated by the fuel cell to supply energy and elements to optional seat functions. The method involves easily removing and replacing a fuel cell source/bottle associated with a passenger seat, such that even passengers can conduct the replacement, rather than crew members, which allows for fast and easy replacement, without any required tools or mechanical knowledge.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a neck pillow having a hair insertion opening, which enables a user, whose hair is tied back and who is sitting in an automobile seat or chair, to amply and comfortably recline the back of the head and neck thereof rearward and also to receive a massage on the rear of the neck due to a storage pocket capable of receiving a hot pack or ice pack on one side of the neck pillow. To achieve the above, the present invention relates to a neck pillow having a body tube formed in a rounded U-shape so as to fit the circumference of the neck of the user, wherein the neck pillow comprises a supporting portion extending vertically upward from the rounded portion of the body tube so as to support the back of the head when the body tube encloses the neck, and the supporting portion defines an insertion opening in the center thereof to receive a tied hair portion at the back of the head of the user when inserted therein.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a folding table for attachment to the rear side of a vehicle seat part, such as a backrest (1a), head support (1b) or head support mounting (1c) of a vehicle seat (1), comprising a fastening device (2a, 2c) for fastening the folding table to the vehicle seat part (1a, 1b, 1c), a carrier element (4) which is connected to the fastening device (2a, 2c) and extends downward from the fastening device (2a, 2c), a tabletop (6) rotatably connected to the carrier element (4) via a first joint at the lower end (4d) of the carrier element (4), wherein supporting elements (7e) are arranged on the tabletop (6) which, when the tabletop (6) is in the working position, can be moved in the direction toward the vehicle seat part (1a, 1b, 1c) by a common actuating member (7a, 7d, 7b', 7b") and can be fixed in different positions by a manually releasable latching device (6h, 7b, 7c), so that the tabletop (6) can be aligned in a horizontal position and is supported on the vehicle seat part (1a, 1b, 1c) against loads.
