    Abstract: The present invention relates to an underframe (2), in particular for trolleys, having a baseplate (4) and four castors (5, 6, 7, 8) mounted on said baseplate. Two pedals (12, 13) are fitted along the transverse side (11) of the underframe, each pedal being connected to a control strip (19, 20) situated above the castors and running along the longitudinal side.
