The invention concerns an apparatus for manufacturing of containers from blanks of a cardboard based material, said apparatus comprising: a container body forming unit configured to form a cylindrical container body from a substantially plane blank of a multilayer material comprising at least a supporting cardboard layer and a weldable layer; a welding unit configured to fasten an end closure to the container body, said welding unit comprising an inductive welding energy generator for melting of the weldable layer; and transporting means configured to transport a flow of body blanks to the container body forming unit, to transport a flow of container bodies from the container body forming unit to the welding unit, and to transport a flow of container bodies provided with end closures from the welding unit. The invention is characterized in that the transporting means comprises: a first movable gripping arrangement configured to grip at least two container bodies and move these container bodies simultaneously to the welding unit; and a transferring and positioning arrangement configured to transfer container bodies from the container body forming unit to the first movable gripping arrangement and to position the container bodies in a controlled manner to ensure that the first movable gripping arrangement can grip the at least two container bodies properly, wherein the welding unit is configured to simultaneously fasten an end closure to each of the at least two container bodies. The invention also concerns a method for operating an apparatus of the above type.

La présente invention concerne une boîte de conserve métallique(40), pour la conservation d'un produit alimentaire stérilisé par un traitement thermique après la fermeture de la boîte, composée d'un corps monobloc formant le fond (41) et la paroi latérale (43) de la boîte, et d'un couvercle (42) assemblé sur ce corps pour le fermer, l'épaisseur minimale de laparoi latérale (43)étant comprise entre 20 % et 60 % de l'épaisseur du centre du fond(41). Selon l'invention, la hauteur de la boîte (40) est comprise entre 1,5 et 3,5fois sa largeur, et le fond (41) et/ou le couvercle (42) de la boîte présente une paroi centrale(411, 421) de forme convexe vers l'extérieur reliée à la paroi latérale (43) par une gorge périphérique (410) débouchant vers l'extérieur.

A container-forming apparatus comprising a movable mandrel (2) supporting the casing (O) and the end member (P), which closes the open end of the casing and an end sealing station (H) comprising a clamping means in order to press together the edge of the casing (O), said casing being transferred to the end sealing station (H) by the mandrel, and the edge of the end member (P), said edge being turned longitudinally towards the casing. The clamping means comprises a piston (H1) moving back and forth in the longitudinal direction of the casing, said piston having pushing surfaces (H2) approaching the sliding axle in the pushing direction causing the clamping action. The pushing surfaces are the countersurfaces (H6) of the clamping members (H5), said clamping members being arranged to turn towards the frame of the clamping means. The countersurfaces form the front portion of the piston, said front portion tapering into a V-shape in the pushing direction in order to turn the clamping surfaces (H12) of the clamping members (H5) outwards towards the clamping countersurfaces (H11) positioned on the frame (H3) of the clamping means.

Eine Haltestruktur zum gleichzeitigen Halten einer Mehrzahl von Behältern (2) für Substanzen für kosmetische, medizinische oder pharmazeutische Anwendungen, insbesondere von Fläschchen, weist einen Träger (134), der eine Mehrzahl von Öffnungen oder Aufnahmen (135) aufweist, in welche die Behälter einführbar sind, sowie Haltemittel zum Halten der Behälter in den Öffnungen oder Aufnahmen auf. Erfindungsgemäß umfassend die Haltemittel zumindest zwei Haltezungen (140), die am Rand einer jeweiligen Öffnung oder Aufnahme vorgesehen sind und von einer Oberseite des Trägers (134) abragen, um den jeweiligen Behälter zu halten, wobei die Haltezungen (140) so ausgelegt sind, dass diese beim Einführen der Behälter in die Öffnungen oder Aufnahmen elastisch weggeschwenkt oder weggeklappt werden, und so auf die Behälter abgestimmt sind, dass diese mit radialem Spiel und verspannungsarm von den Haltezungen gehalten sind. Mit dem radialen Spiel lassen sich fertigungsbedingte Toleranzen kompensieren, aber auch verschiedene Behältertypen mit unterschiedlichen Außenabmessungen mit derselben Haltestruktur halten. Da eine bodenseitige Abstützung der Behälter in der Haltestruktur nicht erforderlich ist, ist ein einfacher Zugriff auf die Behälter möglich. Insbesondere können diese chargenweise und während diese in der Haltestruktur gehalten sind an Weiterverarbeitungsstationen übergeben und dort weiterverarbeitet werden. Die Behälter können in den Öffnungen oder Aufnahmen mit sehr geringem Kraftaufwand angehoben oder bewegt, beispielsweise gedreht, werden.

The invention relates to a method for the sterile packaging of food or beverages in a flexible pouch made of a film material and having a fill opening which can be closed by a cap. According to said method a pouch is prepared in which the cap can be moved into a first and a second closing position in relation to the fill opening, it being possible at least in the first position to remove the cap from the fill opening without causing damage; the interior of the empty, substantially flat pouch, with the cap in the first position, is subjected to a sterilizing treatment; the pouch, with the cap in the first position, whose interior has undergone sterilizing treatment is transferred to a filling station; the exterior of the pouch, with the cap in the first position, is subjected to a sterilizing treatment; the cap is removed from the pouch; the pouch is filled with product via the fill opening; the cap is replaced on the filled pouch; and the fill opening is sealed by moving the cap into the second position. The invention also relates to a corresponding flexible pouch.

The object of the invention is a method for use in connection with closing a liquid packaging container, the said container comprising a cylindrical or truncated cone-like casing part (1) and end members (2, 3) connected to it, of which at least one (3) is formed of fibre-based, such as board-based material, for example, liquid packaging board, and comprises a skirt (15) folded in the direction of the casing part, by which skirt the end member is connected to the casing (1), in which method the container, which is finished at least with respect to its casing part (1) and the said one end member, is filled with a liquid (4) and the container is closed. According to the invention, the surface of one end member (3) which is on the outside of the container is moistened before the container is closed, thus reducing its rigidity to such an extent that the end member can be used in a bellows-like manner for controlling the pressure inside the container.
